Norfolk Island stay….

A pleasant stay in this comfortable 3bedroom house. Well equipped.

Rural atmosphere yet 5 minutes to Burnt Pine township.Enjoyed our stay, would book here again.

The cottage was in a perfect location, no other houses or people around but just a few minutes into town. The cottage came equipped with everything you would need for a comfy stay. it's a great option for travellers who don't want to share a room or bathroom. Private,peaceful and alive with beautiful animals!We would stay here again!

The Dii Elduu cottage was a cute spot up North of Norfolk Island. Ian greeted us at the airport and provided a lot of detailed information which was greatly appreciated and highly useful. The accommodation itself was basic with all that you really need. Two bathrooms was a great feature for more than one guest and the night breeze coming in from all the windows was beautiful, along with the morning light. Beds were reasonably comfy and there was an exceptional amount of towels available, important for the beach trips. Amenities were good with plenty of plates and glasses to use along with a handy kitchen stove- yet cooking was a bit difficult as the pans would all immediately stick to whatever you were cooking, these could use a little upgrade for those lazy night you'd like to eat in.Overall this was a great spot to say, close to everything on the scenic North of the Island with a friendly and chatty host who is clearly willing to help.

This property was perfect for two couples or a family.   Good location.  Very restful.

Everything was easy and smooth ... pick up at the airport, with hire car ready. Short tour through town, pointing out shops, etc. The friendly locals, who give you a wave when passing .... The warm welcome by Wayne, everything ready for us, explanations, maps, anything we may need to know. A complimentary 1/2 day island round trip was organised for us for the following morning. The house was absolutely beautiful and in tranquil location. Well equipped kitchen, milk in the fridge, comfortable bed, private BBQ and outside area, laundry... there was nothing missing. The recommended restaurant "Dino's" (we had a birthday to celebrate) was stunning and the food delicious. To sum it up - it was a perfect holiday.

Lovely, quiet place .... just perfect

Dii Elduu house was the perfect place for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids ages 2,4,6 & 10. 

On arrival our lovely 6 seater rental car that owner Wayne rented to us had been fitted with baby car seat and booster seat for the kids.

We arrived at the property and were immediately amazed by the wide open grassed areas for the kids to run free in. 

The house had been set up with a cot and we were also given a high chair and pram to use. 

Being able to have all of this provided and at no extra cost was such a big bonus for our family. The house has 3 great sized bedrooms, the bathrooms were generous size. Everything was cleaned immaculately and the house was perfect for a family our size. 

The kitchen had everything you need and more...including a diahwasher which was great. 

Beautiful outdoor setting with brand new bbq  meant we did plenty of outdoor entertaining. 

Beach towels provided and Wayne even gave us snorkelling gear to use. This was our best holiday ever.

Wonderful accommodation, great value, totally stress free.
If i could give 10 stars i would.

Best 2 weeks holiday of our lives

Upgraded to a larger house, which was delightful in every way. Super comfortable and spotlessly clean. In a country area, very peaceful with just the feral chickens as company.

Norfolk Island retreat

Very easy to find gorgeous sunsets from here and the stars at night are awesome. Norfolk Islanders are very friendly lots of trials for the active visitors, lots of beaches for swimming, and lots of fascinating history loved it all.Don't let anyone spoil this in the future, even the rough roads are part of its charm.
