Please note:

For a non-refundable special rate booking, your card will be charged on the day of booking.

For a standard rate booking, your card will be pre-authorised for the total amount of the reservation to guarantee your booking.

In the event of a failed card, the hotel will contact you. All reservations if not already paid are payable at time of arrival.

Bookings are only accepted by the person who is the cardholder. If the guest is not the cardholder then a signed statement authorizing payment will be required.

Please check that your card details including card statement address are entered correctly.

Your booking confirmation will include the hotel’s details.

American Express cards are not accepted at St Albans Guest House.

The number of guests in a room must not be more than the maximum occupancy for that room (this includes children).

Children under 4 years of age shall not be accommodated at St Albans.

Please note that the hotel entrance is situated on the upper-ground floor, and is only accessible by 16 steps. All rooms are located on the upper-ground, first and second floors. The hotel does not have a lift or porter service. We can care for your heavy luggage downstairs on the lower-ground floor at street level.
