Los Portales is gevestigd in een voormalige presidentiële woning. Ligt net buiten het centrum van Tarma op een rustige plek. Fijne kamers, goede douches, lekkere bedden en een goed restaurant voor lunch en diner. Hotel kan soms rumoerig zijn als er in het aanwezige zalencomplex een feest is. Vraag daarna en je kunt een kamer op meer afstand van die zaal krijgen zodat je wel je nachtrust krijgt. Vergeet op donderdag of zondag niet naar de markten in Tarma te gaan.
