Gunbaru Inn Guest House

Transfer should be paid separately. The cost can range from USD 200.00 to 600.00.

The transfer fee is not included in the rate and is subject to any taxes and fees applicable in the Maldives. It is payable directly at the hotel at check-in.

Gunbaru Inn offers an Airport Pickup service for USD 10.00 per person (plus applicable taxes), which includes meeting guests at the arrivals area and assisting with transfer arrangements.

1. Public ferry (by sea) - 4 hours on the way.

Male City - Gunbaru Inn: Monday and Thursday at 9:00 AM.

Gunbaru Inn - Male City: Sunday and Wednesday at 9:45 AM.

Cost: FREE (the fee is returned to guests upon arrival at the hotel).

Tickets: The public ferry is not a direct airport transfer. First, guests need to take a ferry between the airport and Male city and get to the Villingili ferry terminal located in Male city to get tickets. The public ferry is operated by the government and any rescheduling, delays and cancellations are at the sole discretion of the operating party.

2. Speedboat (by sea) - 90 minutes on the way.

Male City or Airport - Gunbaru Inn Hotel:

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM,

Friday at 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

Gunbaru Inn - Male city or airport:

Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM,

Friday at 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Cost: USD 50.00 per person, one way (plus applicable taxes and fees).

Tickets: Guests must advise the hotel of their arrival/departure flight number and arrival time one day prior to arrival in order to arrange transfers.

3. Fast private boat (by sea) - 60 minutes on the way.

Male city or airport - Gunbaru Inn hotel: at any time convenient for guests.

Gunbaru Inn Hotel - Male City or Airport: at any time convenient for guests.

Cost: 650.00 USD per boat one way (maximum 24 people).

Tickets: Request must be made at least 12 hours prior to departure. The cost of a boat trip during the day and at night is different.

4. Seaplane (by air) - 20 minutes on the way.

Airport - Nearest Seaport - Gunbaru Inn Hotel: Daytime (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM).

Gunbaru Inn Hotel - Nearest Sea Port - Airport: Daytime (6:00 AM to 3:00 PM).

Tickets must be ordered 3 days before departure.

Cost - Option 1: USD 520.00 per person round trip (plus applicable taxes and fees).

Cost - Option 2: USD 260.00 per person, one way (plus applicable taxes and fees).

Children under 2 years of age are not charged.

For Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners, guests may be charged separately at the hotel.
