Voor de derde keer kwamen we terug bij Palazzo Verone. Zo'n heerlijke plek, met fantastisch uitzicht en met een heel enthousiaste eigenaar Michele! Je voelt je heel welkom en Michele heeft allerlei tips voor je zodat je op de prachtigste plekken komt. Bij het ontbijt speelt Michele, als je dat leuk vindt, gitaar en zingt erbij over Pontone of de liefde. Je moet even klimmen want je kunt er niet met je auto komen, maar dat heeft ook zijn charme. In de buurt van de B&B zijn twee restaurantjes waar je heerlijk kunt eten en overdag is er op het pleintje gelegenheid om wat te eten en te drinken, ook hier weer een geweldig uitzicht. Je kunt vanuit Pontone heerlijke wandelingen maken maar ook mooie plaatsjes bezoeken, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Maiori, Salerno maar lekker luieren aan het strand beneden in Amalfi kan natuurlijk ook! Michele kan ook namens jou een bootje huren (wel zo makkelijk als je geen Italiaans spreekt), dat is echt een aanrader!! Wat een kustlijn! Wij hadden een autootje (moet wel klein zijn!) gehuurd maar Pontone is ook met de bus te bereiken. We komen zeker nog eens terug aan de prachtige Amalfikust.
