This hotel is an excellent place to be. if you need a peaceful and serene hotel...this is the place to be. its lovely with a cozy bed. the toilets are clean and electricity is stable. The AC's are really good. gives you excellent cold air. pool is open only to guests so its good.
outside noise is non existent. its a place i'll always go to for a get away.....

Serene Hotel

I didn't get to stay despite being booked in. The hotel decided to transfer me to another hotel entirely.

Looking at the reviews from previous travellers, it is rather sad that Davok Suites have really not improved their services. The staff lack basic hospitality training. I was impressed when I got there in the morning. I looked forward to the swimming pool. There was a delay checking me in and since I had to attend to an engagement, I left with the hope that all would be sorted out before I returned. Getting back in the evening, I was stunned to find out no one did anything to sort out the problem. My luggage was taken to a car and I was asked to get in. When I queried to where, that was when someone finally had sense to explain they were fully booked. It's totally crazy and shameful. Taken to a poor hotel some distance away, the person who took us there left before I had a chance to see the room and complain. Terrible behaviour. 

Shameful 

One of the most unpleasant hotel stay experiences.  TV remote did not work.  The phone in the room did not work.  I went to front desk to inform the staff; I was given another remote that did not work either.  I went back a third time, and one of the front desk personnel (a man) took the remote from and went into one room; I waited for five minutes and he did not come back.  He did not even care to check back with me although he knew my room number.  The Internet did not work either, and I could not get any business done.  Terrible place to stay.

Trip to Uyo

The best part of the hotel are the staff; they were all friendly and very accommodating, though I had a difficult time at times getting my point across, likely due to my accent. The building appears newer, and the rooms are good size, with bed, shower, in room mini fridge. The drawbacks are that many things need upkeep or repair. I switched rooms because my shower was broken. In both rooms the showers are covered in black mold around the edges. The first bed was OK, but the second was like sleeping on a concrete block. The pillow were old, smelly and stained (from other people's sweat??). 
They have a small pool (also has mold problem around the tiles at the top) and a very small seating area (one table, two chairs) outside. The restaurant has a decent menu, but most things weren't available. There really isn't a true gym, just a small room with one old non-commercial treadmill and some weights. There may have been another machine, but it was so tiny, I just left and didn't try anything.
There was a safe in the room, though it had no batteries. I didn't ask for any and just kept my valuables with me because the safe isn't attached to anything so could be easily carried off.
Despite some discomfort, the staff made it tolerable.The place could be much better with some attention to upkeep and a good cleaning.

Newer hotel, friendly staff, needs work

A steady decline in the total outlook of the hotel.

* staff that never return your change
* internet that never works
* meals served cold 😷😷
* gym a total write off
* very uncomfortable pillows 😤😤
* static tv stations which make it almost impossible to watch
* dirty Swimming pool 
* breakfast ..(the horrendous excuse for complementary meals) absolutely no option .
Don't want to sound like a terrible person but this has been my worse stay ever!!!!
