Our room was tiny the bed almost touched the wall just enough space to walk pass. Security was somehow great although they rarely spoke just kind of gave you a look and that's it.
There was some kind of flying bugs that came out at night we couldn't find exactly where they were coming from the next day, we informed housekeeping they came and sprayed, and we saw them no more during our stay.
We would consider staying here again it is in a central location and the compound seemed very secure by the gate and security even if they rarely spoke.

Never again

I moved from a different hotel whos rooms looked nothing like the photos I saw online. When I got to Villa Angelia, the staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was large and tastefully furnished exactly like the pictures show which was a relief. They advised on fun things to do during my entire stay. Although I had a problem with the shower's water pressure, they were helpful in moving me to a room with a better one. Very Kindly. I definitely recommend!!

My Best Hotel In Lagos!

There is a huge difference between the image and In particular, we reserved by selecting the room that we have booked and said they can give a higher price..... this Otel a liar. does not deserve score

There is a big difference between picture and real.  This very much problem. Don't book. This hotel a liar. 

Before booking, I would recommend confirming whether it's the main hotel building or annex. All the facilities (restaurant, gym, pool) are located in the main building which is a few blocks away from the annex (about 5mins walk). This I found inconvenient as each time I had to go to the main building for meals or pay extra for room service. Unless you don't mind the back and forth each time you want to use those facilities, or you're on room only basis then this shouldn't be a problem. The air conditioner in the room didn't work properly, which I found very uncomfortable as it was reported  but not much difference after servicing.Internet at the main building was fast/good compared to the annex where it hardly worked sometimes.The staff were awesome, from the check-in to the restaurant. Very polite. Willing to go the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. Definitely, have to mention Mr. Deji at the restaurant was extremely helpful and Chef Damien with the delicious meals too. All in all a quiet hotel, nice location with several shops within walking distance. Will stay here again.

Villa Angelia is a decent 3-star hotel. I found the environment to be quiet, intimate and private, hence suitable for corporate bodies and young professionals. Recommended if you are on a tight budget and have meetings on the Island.

Brief But Pleasant Stay

This hotel's location is good for me when I am working late. Close to restaurants, event venues, gas stations etc. this time I chose to stay at the main hotel. Courteous staff. Like the Annexe, the bathroom is small, more like a cubicle. If you are claustrophobic, this may not be ideal. Room slightly bigger than Annexe. Mini bar in room. Nice scented corridor. They should also apply aerosol to the room to rid it of mosquitoes or rodents. Location is great

Check-in was seamless and prompt.....Staff were courteous.....Room was basic and neat.
However,water needs treatment(hard water) and the A/C is tired...The pillows are flat and need replacement. 
Great location within Victoria Island.

My 1-night stay

What I like about this hotel is the location, it's in the middle of the city center but serene and calm. The staff is very friendly, best thing is the price. It's very decent for the price.The views aren't great and I didn't like the staircase.
