Tarrace Green Hotel and Suites

We ended here after a long search for a descent and affordable hotel near the international airport. The hotel was safe, neat and cozy. We negotiated for 6 nights stay. The mgt was very accommodating. The room was nice and neat and the cleaners showed up regularly. The bell boys came instantly when called and was very cheerful. The hotel is about 5 miles from Murtala Mohammed Airport. There was complimentary breakfast every morning. Anything else ordered aside that was very expensive. We ate out for lunch and dinner. The hotel is in a good safe location, near the city surrounded by eateries/fast-foods. There was reliable electricity 24/7 and it never went off unlike other places that switch theirs off at midnight. The reason I gave a four stars is because I noticed the staffs slept on the hotel hallway every night like homeless people. That was tacky to me. I walked by the fitness center and it smelled funky. The heat tank was rusty and started leaking, which stained the tub. It was a mess. The TV is positioned in the wrong spot, making viewing uncomfortable. Here's a tip, Don't just go by what you reserved online. Tell them you'd like to see other rooms if available. Do tip the errand boys. They don't make a lot. Last, We discovered this place on our last day there; it was a small restaurant right behind the hotel. They served delicious meals for 60% less than what a fast food joint would cost. It was neat and they had a lot on the menu. So if you want good food in a neat environment, try it.
