Finca Montania Sagrada

I recently made my eighth visit to La Finca, on Isla de Ometepe., Nicaragua . I toy with going to other places in the world, but in the end -I always return here! Why? For starters,It’s stunningly beautiful! La Finca combines being very close to nature and animals with a touch of Italian Sophistication. I can lay in a hammock and have a view of two different volcanoes .The villages of Merida and San Ramon make me feel like I’m living 100 years ago. The people and lifestyle here are friendly and agrarian. The hosts here,Hari , Mirca and Marilena treat you like family. Their fresh, homade Italian cuisine is divine. There are at least five languages spoken here. Activities:. You can visit anywhere, either walking or by horseback. There is kayaking, fishing , hiking and Nicaraguan “ Comida Typica “ and Nicaragua close at hand. They have over 20 gentle riding horses to choose from 5000 year old petroglyphs are everywhere to explore. They are right on the trail to a dormant volcano with remnants of unique rain forest, found nowhere else in the world. A beautiful lake is in the center of the volcano. They have a pack of wonderful Ranch dogs that will escort you if you wish anywhere you want to go.
