This hotel is pretty adorable. We only stayed one night to be near the airport at the tail end of a longer trip around Nicaragua. We chose this place because of the cute bar and cafe shown on the website and the airport shuttle service. The bar and cafe were both closed during our stay and the expensive "shuttle service" was just them calling a taxi, so not sure that worth it. However, the private room had a private bathroom and A/C. The bed was very comfortable, but only had a sheet and no blanket for some reason. If there was anything interesting in the area I would recommend this place more highly.

my absolute favorite boutique hotel, in managua..... really good, quiet place to stay. Near good restaurants. But tucked away on a quiet street. Modern. great rooms. hot water. y mucho mad. been here like 5 times.

The hostel was like a haunted house, no guests on the common areas so I just stayed at my room. The shower was so small I can barely fit in and Im a little dude. Breakfast was included however the restaurant only had 1 out 3 options because they didn’t had enough ingredients. Good thing i only staid one night.

It was about right

We got in late so booked a private room here. I must say it is one of the nicer hostels I’ve stayed at. We were in the Fidel Castro room and aside from comfortable beds, great air conditioning, it was very thoughtfully decorated.  All around great experience. 

Great Hostel in Managua

We stayed one night at this amazing place. The location is good since there isn’t a lot to see in town but the atmosphere of the hostel is amazing, it’s cozy, the rooms are nice and the social area is good to hang out in.

Amazing place 

Beautiful clean room, but had a couple of roaches. Quiet, peaceful. Friendly. Located in a great area near restaurants, shopping. Safe.  It was my 2nd time at this  hotel.  Will likely return soon

Cool place to stay

I stayed here for a few nights and the only thing I can remember regretting was leaving.

Booking from the road communication was effortless even connecting through Facebook to confirm reservation and answering a few questions before arrival.  

When I did arrive I found the location near enough to the bus station for an inexpensive ride in a cab (only a few bucks american) and was lucky enough to meet a local taxi who later in my trip shuttled me around town for a day and to the airport for to head home from my trip (again close enough from the Pachamama to be an inexpensive ride).  The hotel has many restaurants and markets within walking distance and is situated just off a major road but on a side street easy to access from a few directions.

The staff was quite hospitable and the grounds never felt like any other than my own as the hostel has games to play from giant jenga to darts or pool take your pick the swimming or 8 ball type.  I found the amenities all to be in great order including the breakfast cafe in the morning and the gift shop which provided a few items that I needed as my planning for the trip was kind of spur of the moment.

Whether you choose a dorm or a private room I can almost assure you a comfortable trip and friendly interactions. While in Managua don't cheat yourself out of the opportunity to enjoy the Pachamama, the next time I'm in town I know where I'm staying, and I can't imagine that changing unless the Pachamama isn't there.

Pachamama is great if it's just you on pleasure or business and you don't care about frills but want to stay central and live of the area

We arrived at Pachamama the night before an early (7:30am) flight out of Managua hoping to hang out for a bit, have a few drinks and get some rest. We booked a private double bed room with the expectation we would be able to get some quiet. We had the opposite experience. Upon check in we were informed there would be a "private party" at the bar and we were placed in a room that shared a wall with the bar. The party was blasting music until after 5:00am when we checked out to catch out flight.The walls were shaking all night due to the bass and no one got an ounce of sleep. On top of that, we were not able to use the amenities due to this private party. Not worth the money we spent on the private room.

Terrible Noise

No doubt! This hotel is cosy, the bar is great, the decor is well done, and beds are comfortable.There is one major problem: YOU CAN'T SLEEP if there is a party going on for the simple reason that this hotel is also a club!Yes a club, and my room was beside the bar sharing the same wall. So I couldn't sleep the all night, feeling like my bed was literally in the middle of the dance floor (i'm not joking trust me).I had to stay one night here (a saturday night), and I regret so much. Even during the afternoon it was impossible to have a short nape, the music was loud the all day and of course the all night.The place is a good bar to go out, no doubt on that, but as a guest of the hotel, i'm sorry but it was a super bad experience.My advise for the crew: hostel or bar you must chose. You can't leave your guests paying for a stay and don't let them sleep. This experience was a nightmare! I can't recommend this hostel, but I can recommend the club for sure...
