We arrived to Granada around 3:00 PM and struggled to find a place to stay close to downtown that was not full, it was a Saturday and festivities were going on. We were carrying our packs, hot, hungry, tired and unclean from a long stay on Ometepe Island. We stumble upon La Cigale and spoke to Ana. The cost of the room was a bit more than we wanted to pay (we had been staying in cheap hostels) but, we where ready for something nicer. The price was worth it. We stayed two nights. Lester seemed to be there the entire time and was always smiling! He made sure everything was taken care of for us. We were served an exceptional breakfast each morning. Martin, one of the owners was also at the property throughout our stay. Each of the staff members we met went above and beyond in their hospitality! We planned on staying one night but, liked it so much we splurged for two. It was a great place to end our Nicaraguan trip. We highly recommend this hotel.
