Stunning Views Bed and Breakfast

Everyone else mentions the views - because they really are splendid. Jim and Denise will make you feel at home and are a great source of local information. Breakfast was lovely. A very convenient location for Coromandel and places further south. They may be moving so get in while you still can!

What a great place to relax and enjoy the great hosting by denise and jim...it was hard to leave this place after only two nights, enjoyed everything there, suite, company, food, music, views, arts, conversations!

We had an AMAZING time at Denise and Jim’s place.  The views really are spectacular and our room was extremely comfortable.  The house is close to the beach (which is beautiful!) and the cute downtown area.  But what really sets this place apart is Denise and Jim.  They are the bests hosts you could ask for—warm, welcoming, fun.  They made us feel like we were at home and cooked us wonderful breakfasts with local fruits and eggs.  They invited us to a locals open night mic at a bar that was SUPER fun and we really enjoyed getting to know them.  This was one of our favorite places to stay on our three week trip to New Zealand and we can’t wait to go back.

We enjoyed our stay with Jim and Denise so much! Their comfortable home is a wonderful base for seaside adventures. Jim kept an eye on the tides and gave us great suggestions for fun things to do. The food was amazing;most of the herbs, veggies and fruit coming from their garden. The linens were first rate and the towels were huge and plush. Do a dinner at their house. It is better than what you get at any restaurant!

We had a fantastic stay here. Jim and Denise are fantastic hosts. 

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay, from wine glasses to beach towels. 

We stayed in the upstairs room and our private deck had the stunning views as advertised. It was nice to read a book and drink some wine as the sun set. Very relaxing. 

The breakfast here was to die for. Delicious food and many of the ingredients came fresh right from their garden.

Highly recommended and would stay again in a heartbeat!

This B&B is more like home from home. We only met Jim & Denise yesterday but they make you feel like you have known them forever.
Their attention to detail is second to none and the room was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for them and our breakfast was a delight.
The disappointing thing for us was we only stayed a night and we could have stayed a week.
If you are visiting Whangamata then Stunning views is the place to stay.

It was an amazing time we had with our hosts at their B&B...Nice breakfast as well!!! The rooms was so tidy and comfortable and we were treated very nice...such a friendly couple...I would recommend Stunning view to every one and it does have a stunning view

The B&B exceeded our expectations. Every detail was though through, it was spotless, and the views were breathtaking. Denise and her family were awesome guests, very considerate and kind. The breakfast is delicious. Would definitly go back!

We stayed with Denise and Jim this time last year during the annual Beach Hop event and it was our first experience in a B&B. It was such an easy decision to stay at Stunning Views B&B again this year for another 5 days. On reading other reviews we can honestly say we received the same incredible hospitality. We are made to feel so welcome - the personalised breakfasts created by Denise and Jim as a team are 5-star, and the “stunning views” make it a perfect start to every day - the bedroom is dressed so beautifully with amazing attention to detail - the wine and food platter yet another lovely gesture. Our wonderful hosts Denise and Jim are an awesome couple and it’s wonderful to be around them. Without hesitation they go out of their way to make their guests stay a memorable one in so many ways – even special bath salts and more candles were added as yet another surprise for a relaxing time. Our room was beautiful, roomy, exceptionally clean and comfortable.  Our host and hostess, Jim and Denise, were warm, professional, incredibly hospitable and great company.  Breakfast was delicious and happy hour was filled with music, laughter and flowing conversation.  
Whangamata is a great place to visit.  Stunning scenery, beautiful beach and lovely village atmosphere.  
100% recommend - we will definitely be repeat visitors.

Incredible experience

Denise & Jim are two of the most gracious hosts we have ever experienced and it was an honour to stay with them.  They bend over backwards to accommodate their guests and every conceivable need is met with a smile. 
Each room has been appointed to the last detail.  They are all beautiful with a variety of views.  
The breakfasts were fantastic and tailored to our individual diet and tastes.
We highly recommend Stunning Views to every adult visiting Whangamata and the Coromandel coast

Stunning Hosts

Denise and Jim have a stunning home with views to match.Their friendly and out going personalities made our stay so memorable.The scene was set with a beautiful bedroom tastefully decorated with an eye for detail.We had our own ensuite together with a separate TV lounge and outdoor area, it was so peaceful and the garden a perfect haven.On arrival we were treated with a beautiful platter and a bottle of champagne,and our breakfast the following morning was simply superb and cooked by our hosts.We would recommend Stunning Views B & B for anyone wanting a complete 5 Star experience.Thank you Denise and Jim.
