We have just returned from staying 2 nights at the Aqua Beach Front Motel, Unit 11. After reading some reviews we were wondering what to expect but what a pleasant surprise! Fantastic view,sunny unit with sliding doors out to a patio. Clean, everything you could want, daily paper and friendly owner. No complaints. Only recommendations would be the blind above bed needs a little adjusting so it closes tighter & maybe a shelf in the shower for soap, shampoo etc. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

Great views from first floor apartment. Clean and well equipped. Good bed, great shower. On the down side, a lot of small maintenance issues. Shutters falling off windows, peeling paint on sills, torn shade sail, worn unravelling deck furniture. The lack of aircon was definitely an issue in the temperatures we have been experiencing. The manager very obligingly provided a fan , with the door to the deck open and all windows open , this enabled us to have a good sleep. Reasonable rates for the beautiful spot.

Stayed here for one night and no major complaints! Our room was really nice, clean ect.. The beach is literally RIGHT there, which is amazing esp to wake up to the view! We were up stairs and had a patio also.

Location is tops had road front unit ,  clean and tidy but NO air conditioning    
.... in this day and age this should be standard,  could not leave any windows open during the night as they had no security stays on them the unit heated up very quickly and was very hot, there was a fan but you are only recycling hot air!!
Will come back when owners put in air conditioning.

Overnight stay

We only stayed one night and it was fine. Good beds and plenty of space. Odd layout but had a good feel. Be great for holiday with children with the motel being right across the road from fabulous beaches and close to the cafes and restaurants. 

Quirky little place.

Had the misfortune to stay here and drew the short straw for Unit 12.  It should be closed down! It was damp and musty and freezing cold.  Lack of heating, curtains, blinds and lighting. Shower was disgusting.  There was no privacy blind in the bathroom and you could see directly into it from the kitchen - totally unacceptable.  The owners know about this but have done nothing to rectify it.  The light above the vanity unit did not work.  There were not enough power points.  Shower head kept folding in towards the wall.  Was very noisy.
The owners obviously don't have any pride or care or take responsibility.  Happy to charge expensive rates but not prepared to do any repairs or maintenance.  I have emailed them 3 times but never had a response.
I would never stay here again.

Last Resort

Beware, this place is not as it appears on booking websites. It is well well overpriced for what it is. Old dirty and smelly. We got a 2 bedroom family room which had ripped carpet and furniture, mouldy curtains, smelly blankets, there were spiders and spider webs everywhere. We did not want to spend any time in the room and even walked across to the beach to eat our meals as there was no dining table and the balcony was dirty and furniture falling apart. If this place had of been quarter of the price it would have been ok but you can't charge $260/night for a place in this state. Beware the owner makes you sign a waiver when you check in and there is a good reason for this!

Don't stay here

Seriously, this is the worst possible choice for accommodation in the Mount you could make. Do not be fooled by the photos. Terrible across the board. Do not make the same mistake I did! The owners do not care about people at all.
