Very spacious accommodation in a relatively new town.
The room was large and spacious and very clean.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially on our arrival.
This was only an overnight stay but it whetted the appetite for a return.

Great location, within easy walking distance to shops and eateries. Nice clean, spacious rooms. But what made this place stand out for us was the care the hosts put into ensuring that our dietary needs were met with our continental breakfast.  Really kind and thoughtful people. Thank you again. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Twizel. 

We stayed here for 1 night. Great king bed really comfy. Loved the garden and the hosts. Great location to Twizel centre too.
Would definitely stay again. When eating out we
really enjoyed Mint Folk and Co, but Poppies is also really good.

We arrived at Twizel Central, after cycling from Tekapo, on the A2O trail.  This Motel is delightful, has so much character as appears to be a wing of the Motelier’s  home set in a lovely garden.  Although the owners were away, we were given a phone number to ring, to check in and locate our key.  Our every need was catered for, in this lovely homely boutique style motel.

My friend and I were very impressed when we booked into this motel. The new owner went out of his way for us as we couldn't go out for a meal. Our room didn't have a kitchen but he provided us with everything we needed to make ourselves dinner. The room is so spacious and spotlessly clean.
He was just delightful. We wish him well as we can see they have made huge changes. Our room was well appointed and the bathroom was great.

Unfortunately we received some very bad news regarding a family member and had to cut our stay short.
The young man looking after us was extremely understanding and sympathetic.
I can’t thank him enough for his kindness.
We will definitely be back to continue our fishing expedition and be staying with Twizel Central.

I believe there are new owners here (since September 2020?).  It now operates as a motel, rather than a B&B.
Our room and bathroom were extremely spacious and tastefully decorated.  Very comfortable bed and a great shower.
There were tea/coffee making facilites and a small fridge only.
Friendly hosts.
Nice big table outside to share with other guests, which we did over a glass of wine!
A hop, skip and a jump from the centre of town.
Would definitely recommend for a short stay or longer if you didn't require cooking facilities.

This is a stunning little motel. Large comphy  bed, sky TV, great shower,and very clean. Close to town, with a great outdoor area, and use of the BBQ. Very friendly hosts. Will defiantly stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

We booked two rooms for four nights for clients who were here to participate  in a Landscape Photography Retreat with us based in Twizel, the heart of Mackenzie Basin near Aoraki/Mt Cook. 
The location of the accommodation is perfect, just 50 metres from our Photo Base (across the road). Theses apartments have recently been refurbished. Our clients said that the king size beds, air conditioning , quite location, friendly hosts where a great tonic after a long day of photography and learning new skills. 
Access to the centre of Twizel for restaurants and good coffee is 5 minutes walk away.

Relaxing and informal atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful hosts. You feel welcome within their family. Tilly the cat tried to emigrate to Australia in our suitcase ha ha. Excellent room, comfortable bed and large well appointed bathroom. Lovely breakfast - first class scrambled eggs !!  Highly recommend

Excellent B&B in the heart of Twizel

What a wonderful B&B.  The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had a tea cart with various items.  The family was very friendly and there were many items to choose from for breakfast, including freshly scrambled eggs with chives.  I would definitely recommend staying at the Aoraki Lodge - it is truly terrific!

Terrific B&B

We stayed at Aoraki Lodge just one night (too bad!) on our way to Queenstown. We were welcomed to a very nice house with a confortable and clean room with some chocolates waiting for us. They arranged our bookings for dinner and recommended some interesting things to do the next day around Mt Cook. The continental breakfast sharing a very nice conversation with the family who runs it was amazing. Would highly recommend it! We never got to meet the furry family member a nice cat we were told about!
