Stayed here while attending a  friends birthday bash in Motuoapa. Ultra clean room and very comfortable, great amenities and we'd certainly no hesitate booking for a family weekend way either! Friendly staff and price per nights incredibly great value.

Came here for the weekend end of July for some skiing. Nice and clean room. Lots of space with a full kitchen which was handy as we could cook meals each night. Unit can be heated with the AC in the room, so wasn't cold at all. Very quiet as well even though the highway is very close. Free parking and tv with some channels to watch at night. Overall excellent stay, couldn't fault the place. Hopefully will be back again as it was great value for the money

The unit was really cozy and clean. Nicely decorated. Unit is great for small family (4people) and the staff was friendly. There is a playground to keep the kids busy and the lake it just down the road(about 400m if that)

The accommodation was first class, spotlessly clean, very well appointed and modern.The owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The motel is also conveniently situated for Lake Taupo and the Huka falls.To be recommended.

Without a booking I was allocated a very nice comfortable clean unit.  Real value for money I thought. The only thing I can make a comment on in the negative is that the road was close & a lot of trucks go through but I still managed to sleep quite well.  Although Lake Taupo is only a couple of minutes walk & you need to cross the road you can still see it from the unit.  Plus there is a 10 minute climb at the back of the motel  to look out over the lake which was well worth the effort..

Our unit had recently been renovated, with excellent, stylish fittings and kitchen, and a modern bathroom. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. 
The only downside was the noise from the nearby very busy highway. We had to close our windows to deaden the sound, and relied on the air conditioner for ventilation. Fortunately this worked well.
