Great view, easy to find and good fit for our visit to Te Anau in our way the Milford.

Motel room was very clean, comfortable and equipped for all our needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Great location with easy access to town.

Was pleasantly surprised! Was concerned when we first went to check in as it appeared to be the caravan park however the room we booked was hidden and further to the side with good view of the lake. Lovely clean room with modern style. Would recommend!

This property is all round fantastic. Cleanliness, facilities, location and ofcourse, the wonderful view.

Great view of the lake , big rooms and quiet

Very nice accommodations. Right along the lake so the views when we woke up were fantastic. Having a kitchenette was also super helpful for me and my family. Definitely would suggest staying here!

When you drive in it is a bit worrisome however, these apartments are a seperate building on the far side of the property and theyre amazing. Great views and comfortable clean rooms. The furniture could be updated (ripped lounge chair and rickety side table) other than that would recommend.

Unfortunately we had lousy weather throughout our stay at this accommodation.  None the less our room was very nice and spacious.  We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room.In town there is a delightful little movie theater.  It was a great option for “rainy day” activity.  We also visited a museum that houses antique farm machinery and other artifacts from days gone by.

This hotel is amongst a camp ground and other hotels. Things were quiet and peaceful.  Very convenient for our needs.

The property has various types of lodging facilities - from rooms, to cottages to apartments and caravan park. There is no breakfast per se. The location is great - around 5 minutes drive from the city center. You can also walk for around 10-15 mins to be there. The city center has quite a few restaurants and eating options. Self parking withing the property is very convenient and fast. Would stay here again for sure !!

We had a wonderful stay. Great location to town and main events. A 4 star was given because I had contacted the manager in regards to needing propane for the grill and in our 3 night stay in was not replaced and also about another concern with a ceiling light and never received a response back from manger. Also hot tub was broken??

Good but??

We stayed here for 2 nights with a family of 5, we had a family suite which had a king bed in 1 room and 3 singles in the other room which was really cute with our 3 kids.  We didn’t spend too much time at the hotel with all of our activities but it was fine.  I did (try to) cook breakfast one morning and my only advice would be to have a non-stick pan in the rooms.  Office staff were very pleasant.  Would stay there again.

Have stayed here twice, one night before a trip to Milford Sound and then a night on our return. Very nice unit, well equipped kitchen with cook top, mwave and fridge with small freezer. Rather leaky shower door in both units but shower was good, great pressure. Beds were comfortable. Only issue would be the inconsistent cleaning of the rooms, first night was much cleaner and prepped than the second. Would recommend this resort/hotel. It’s close to town and an easy walk.

I liked the location of the property and the ability to sit on the patio to enjoy the views. Since it was not a "high end" luxury hotel it was what I expected. It was clean and had everything I needed. I travel a lot and don't need a fancy lobby or many on site amenities. I was there to enjoy the area and outdoors.

Fabulous location overlooking the lake. We stayed in the Motel, room was a generous size, very clean & great kitchen facilities. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. On site staff at the Park property were helpful & courteous. The property has a great variety of accommodation options. Would highly recommend as an option for your stay in beautiful Te Anau.

The apartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. Beside one room with a king size bed, the other has 3 single beds and doesn’t appear cramped. There is very good view of Lake Te Anau from the living room and a bedroom. The apartment looks new and very clean. I like the sofa in leather which looks cleaner and hygienic than a fabric one. There are 3 more comfortable side chairs. This is first apartment I came across with dish dry rack and a hand towel rail which allow me to keep the kitchen top tidy. However there is no laundry facilities in the room. It is incon to use shared laundry facility outside the apartment. Overall I am satisfied with this place.

A comfortable apartment with nice lake view

It was our family holiday to travel around New Zealand from overseas. We booked two bedrooms in  Marakura Deluxe Motel, Te Anau for 1 night so as to take Milford Sound cruise next day. It was a nice spacious ground floor 2 bed room with beautiful lake view, the kitchen is fully equipped, the parking space is just next to the building. However, after we Checked-out, we received an email telling us the bucket inside the rubbish bin was missing, asked us where the bucket was. Otherwise, the hotel would charge us for rubbish bin.  We felt upset and surprised for receiving this email from hotel, as we kept  the room tidy and threw the rubbish away, there’s only a plastic rubbish bag inside bucket originally, so there’s no bin inside the bucket at all , we also felt strange when threw rubbish away upon check-out in the morning, there’s only rubbish bag inside of the bucket, we thought it was their hotel rubbish bin style. We didn’t expect the hotel would ask us where the bin inside the bucket was. It’s no use for us to keep or take the bin away.  We were on the way to travel around New Zealand so we have no time to argue about this matter,  anyway, the motel should not charge the guest for this case. Please investigate.
