Lovely hosts, very nice welcoming and comfortable accommodation, and superb breakfast. 
We didn’t avail ourselves of the spa and sauna but they looked great too.  That is obviously an attraction for some but we just wanted a comfortable friendly style and we got that in sides. 
Locality is close to town and excellent for exploring the Golden Bay Area.

We stayed in a small cottage, well designed with a small porch. Two cats "adopted " us instantly and felt like we are old friends visiting the place. We had a lovely sauna and a dip in a hot tub Serge prepared for us. What a treat! In the morning we were welcomed to a full breakfast in a very European setting. Serge offer to make eggs for us. Great stay!  Highly recommend if you travel through Takaka.

We loved our stay here. Serge and Marie are such wonderful hosts with exceptional taste. Louise the cat has a great personality, she's like a dog! We loved using the sauna and spa, stargazing in the field, and the certainly the best brekkie we've ever had at an airbnb. Thanks for baking fresh bread each day! We will be back!

Such a nice little b and B, I loved staying here and the breakfast was just amazing I loved it. The hosts are super friendly and just great to chat to, and their beautiful fluffy cat is lovely to hang out with for a chat, I would recommend this place to anyway looking for somewhere to stay that is not far from collingwood

This B&B is just beautiful, so pretty and the welcome and hospitality was just so lovely. We stayed in the cottage out the back with our 5 month old, it was big enough to pop in the co-sleeper next to the bed and the private garden was perfect for popping down the play mat. Hot tubs where so relaxing and the breakfast in thr morning was delish!

I would highly recommend this accomadation and cant wait to stay again. 

This has to be the most amazing place on the planet! The host's, Serge and Marie, made it feel like home and were so accommodating and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast was phenomenal 😋 and we have booked for next year already! I can not recommend a more comfortable and beautiful setting, from the hot pools right down to the gorgeous cats. I loved every minute of it.

We stayed at Watapu Springs the night before walking the Heaphy Track. It was a perfect place to stay with absolutely lovely hosts. The spa was an added bonus and the breakfast amazing. Thanks Maree and Serge.

I loved the hot tub, sauna, pool, chill-out room, and the breakfast buffet was divine. Very nice setting and close enough to walk to town. Everything was nice and clean. I will try to go back and stay there again soon.

What a great place to stay. Maree and Serge are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to assist.  The house and gardens are delightful. The breakfast is sumptuous. So much food. And then there are the hot tubs.

It isn't often I find that the place I stay is the main attraction, however Waitapu Springs B&B is something extraordinary. The setting is so peaceful, the hosts are warm and welcoming, the spa and sauna were perfect to relax in. Everything about this place far exceeded my expectations including the low cost for staying here. One of the guests there was a repeat visitor and I can clearly see why, I so want to return here too. Totally worth it, and highly recommended!

Best B and B EVER!

Far exceeds expectations!

Wonderful place with fantastic hosts Serge & Marie. Great hot tub & sauna - use included in your stay. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Huge choice at breakfast - which is also included; eggs, homemade bread / toast, homemade jams, cereal, cheese, ham, fresh coffee & tea. 
There is a very relaxed and homely feel at Waitapu Springs b&b. I stayed in the double with shared bathroom. Towels and robe are provided. This was my second stay and I shall be back!

Best b&b in New Zealand! 

Serge and Marie have made a wonderful retreat and are the most friendly hosts.  It really is like staying with family and the breakfasts are a treat.  The room was very clean and a good size, with good facilities.  The hot tub/sauna/spa area was a great place to relax the muscles after a day's slog in the Abel Tasman.  Best of all was the BBQ along with complete kitchen facilities, so you never had to eat out.  Overall, for what is provided you couldn't get better value for the very reasonable rates.

One of the most pleasant places I have stayed in

We stayed in the cottage and had a lovely time.  It was so cute.  It was small and it took a bit of arranging to find places for our  stuff but I wouldn’t have traded it for a bigger place.  It was so quaint and charming.  The bathroom was a good size and so many interesting design elements-  drift wood for the towel hook and toilet paper holder.  The hot tubs, sauna and lounge room were relaxing.  Serge cooks up a good breakfast.  Only minus is that they don’t take CCs.
