Mature Aussies travelling with adult son, daughter & son in law chose Alpine apartments for location, flexibility with guest numbers, modern style. We appreciated the friendly helpful staff, the pre -stay quick responses to our questions and helpful advice. The apartment had lovely views, was clean, and well appointed.  The free wifi, the kitchen and laundry facilities and the ground floor location we're so convenient.   Certainly a home away from home holiday experience!

Had a very comfortable stay at the alpine apartments . Good for families . Plenty of parking and nicely positioned being a 2 minute drive to the centre of queenstown. Helpful staff and lovely views. 

My only issue the rooms don't get serviced so for longer stays towels etc need to be washed.

The views from the apartment I stayed in were fantastic.  I had two nights here and loved the outlook and hearing the lake lapping just below.
The location is about 5 minutes drive from Queenstown centre.
There are several apartments on the complex, providing both short and long term rentals.  Apparently each unit is privately owned and run by a Body Corporate.
There are some things to be aware of...
The consumables such as toilet paper, tea, coffee etc are not replenished during your stay and the apartments aren't serviced so beds are not made and towels not replenished.
I did have an issue with the TV when I accidentally pushed the wrong button when turning it off.  I then didn't have any channels to watch.  I called the number in the compendium the next day but was informed I'd have to call the owner of the property.  I couldn't do this as I have no idea who this is.  I booked through booking.com.  They then told me that I would need to call a television technician in at my expense to fix it. That wasn't going to be an option for me so, I called my husband and showed him what was happening and had it fixed in 30 seconds.
Free Wi-Fi is provided, but only 500mb, which doesn't last long these days.
There are no stove top, but there is a toaster and microwave.
The unit I was in didn't supply wine glasses, and the glasses that were there were mismatched.
There was no iron and ironing board in the room, but I believe there was one in the complex laundry.
Also, the unit I was in, had a mirror on the wall that was too high to use.  I'm not short, and I could just see my head in it if I stood back, and nothing else.
The duvet cover was also very creased.
There is no check in desk.  Keys are left in a locked box for you to collect.  Instructions are emailed to you.  Keys are put into a drop box upon departure.
You are also expected to remove your own rubbish upon departure.

Fantastic View

Apartment was initially fine, but we had some serious issues later on in the stay. The views from the room are very nice and the decor is well laid out. Our issues were with the availability of basic amenities and your options of what to do when they ran out. We have stayed in many self catered locations during our travels but the lack of availability of basic help was a serious hindrance of this place at 10PM at night. Our other issue was the parking situation in front of our apartment which considering the fact we were travelling with a young baby in a car seat, was not good enough. The location was quite far out from the town centre but this wasn't a huge problem for us, the other things were however deal breakers.
