Lovely place so much room ,the cupple running it are so nice friendly and very helpful nothing is a problem, 
The room was clean and nice and warm ,
Will definitely stay again if up thus way again .

We were in unit 5 lovely and quiet ,no traffic noise. The unit was very spacious and spotlessly clean. 
The hosts were very welcoming ,friendly and approachable.
Comfortable bed ,great nights sleep we were refreshed and ready to journey on next day. Would we stay again at this motel ? yep sure will.

Room was very clean, neat & tidy. Prior arriving called reception to inform that we will reach half an hour late due to traffic. On rrival Alison welcomed us very well, absolutely amazing. At night we used BBQ & Alison husband (assuming) came to help us to switch it on & gave us oil spray, tong etc, much appreciated. Only thing was fridge was not working properly & it was pretty late so we didn't disturb. Overall we had an excellent experience.. Highly recommend to everyone!

We stayed 2 nights in April and could not have asked for a better experience.
The units are so well set up. The welcoming assistance by reception staff throughout our stay was appreciated. On site laundry helped us through a couple rainy days so we could enjoy the area to the fullest. Property on a main road, near a supermarket grocer but very peaceful.

We had 2 nights here and were very impressed by our room. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, had everything in it that we required, nice comfortable bed/pillows, good sized bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery etc. Laundry on sight also came in handy for us. Main road is busy at peak times, but quiet at night. Motel is only a few minutes drive into town and our host was very welcoming and helpful

An absolutely pleasant stay here. Host was very accommodating. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Lovely stay can't wait for the next one. Barbecue available. Nice surroundings. Washing machine and dryer available. Nice showers. Very clean.

It was clean and comfy motel, clean room and en-suite bathroom, and comfy beds, with sky TV, kitchenette and small fridge. Our room was a family room, fit from standard 2 person using double bed in the bed room, but also able to be used by a family with 4 members using the extra single bed and sliding rolling bed in the living room. Nice and quiet in the night although next to the main road of Whakatane. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful, and the bonus was a separate SPA ROOM, free for the guests, nice.

This motel has a big room with a shower. But the bed was very bouncy I felt like I was sinking all night. There is a fan in the wardrobe to help you keep cool, but to be honest: during these hot summers, it is not a good night when there is no air con in your motel room.

No Air Con

We visited the Whakatane i site and booked and payed for a nights accomodation through the agent there. On arrival at tourist court we were unimpressed with what we found and worse than that we were required to pay another $50 over and above the tariff we had already paid at the I Site.
We did not stay and the I Site placed us in another accomodation.

Dubious Accomodation

Worst experience ever! Has no idea how to treat paying patrons. Never again. Overpriced, rude and an all round fail! 
Perhaps a course in customer service wouldnt go astray. 
I hope no one else gets treated like this. Room manuals definitely need updating. Especially stating  no refunds!!!
