Such a great stay- loved the little trailer

Property is next to beach it's off the motorway so pretty good quiet cool lil set up clean toilet and showers cool lil shop and  a caravan takeaway got burger chips cannot complained mint feed easy check in staff top notch 👍👍

Love this cute little holiday park, has everything in the kitchen for you to use like tea towels, cutlery and plates etc would definitely stay here again

This is a great camp site. Nice and friendly campers and owners. Great kitchen with everything you need if I forgot something,just saying. I was dog sitting so booked the site with fencing all around, perfect. Nice shop on site. Lot's of walking trails as well as the beach. I will definitely be back.

Great stay, the only issue was some grumpy old man in the red bus sticking his nose into my personal space for no good reason, other than that super friendly staff, amazing location and so peaceful with the icean sounds to fall asleep to. Also fantastic they are pet friendly well done guys its a great camping grounds you have

Great campsites

just spent 8 days here with the dogs in my camper. Our hosts, Kevin and Gail were great and made us very welcome. Walks to beach gave the dogs a great time and a swim. ammenities very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. totally recomend if your family or traveling with pets. The takeaways from the caravan were very nice also

A great break away and stay

Lovely, friendly campground - we stayed in the Pukeko cabin which was lovely and cosy, with a really comfy bed and all the bells and whistles or tea, coffee, TV, fridge, etc. Loved that my dog was allowed at the campground and inside the cabin. Great location right next to the beach. Great little store on site that was open early and late.  Thanks for a great stay!

A great stay at a dog-friendly, beautiful, beachside campground

This camp ground is really clean and well maintained.  Friendly permanents and just generally a great campground.  Love the pizza oven and shade outside of the kitchen area.  This place has a micro climate and often when its cold in Christchurch -out here  its sunny and warm.  Love Leithfield camp ground.

Clean and Friendly

Great campsite, quiet and private areas.  Even though it is close to the beach, you don't get the Easterly wind (where we camp anyway!) Facilities are always spotlessly clean.  The kitchen has amazing amenities.  The hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcoming!. Bonus of an onsite delicious fish and chip caravan some nights. Highly recommend. 

Great little campsite not far from Christchurch

I am reluctant to review this holiday park, only because once the word gets out, it will get busy and we won't be able to get in.  But I will as it so so good.
What a lovely holiday park! Off SHWY 1 just turn off almost across the road from Pukeko Junction. Travel a little bit and then the last road on your left and down you drive. The reception office is on your left and the park is across the road on your right.
The facilities are first rate. The kitchen is clean and each sink (there are about 5) all have washing up liquid, dish brushes which is great if you forget your own. Fridges and even crockery and utensils to borrow.
The toilet/shower block is clean and tidy. Gratitude to the caretakers of this park, so pleasant to have such a nice ablution block.
The showers take $2 coins but the water is instantly hot and the water pressure doesn't leave you running around the cubicle hoping you will get wet. 
The stony beach is cooee from the camp through the trees (little piece of advice, the waves are quite dumpy so might not be the best beach for a swim) and the view up and down to Christchurch and the north is wide.
We highly recommend this campground, but please don't all rush at once, we would like to get back here again😁.

We love the Leithfield Holiday Park… free endless helpful staff…great site, excellent facilities and long hot super clean showers… great playground and awesome beach for fossicking and collecting… very highly recommended place to stay with caravan or motor home…and the takeaway bar is a delicious bonus…

Fabulous Leithfield Holiday Park

Stopped in for a night, while I was travelling from Otago to Picton, to break the trip up.

Liked the place so much I stayed an extra night.

Clean and warm accommodation.
The beach is a stone throw away, staff are friendly. Christchurch city 35mins drive away.

Nice vibes, will stay again when I visit the South Island again.

Lovely wee spot didnt arive till dark just needed a bed on way up to picton but lovly wee spot, kitchen was really nice had a coffe an we left would absolutely stay again
