Lovely motel with individual cottages in the colonial style hence the name.
Outdoor swimming pool laundry and barbecue area if you feel like cooking al fresco.
A short cheap taxi ride into town where there are restaurants and bars and shopping.

All good,stayed in one of the 2 newer  units and it was fine.Heater was a bit noisey but other than that,would recommend the unit.Great location handy to the town centre.
We have stayed here before and have had no problems what so ever.

Spent 3 nights in 2 bedroom unit.  Certainly dated but very roomy and comfortable and cleanliness not faulted.  Great location close to town. RSA is handy with good restaurant.  Would happily stay again.

DATED BUT CLEAN & COMFORTABLE

The last room available in town at the last minute, so you take what you can get. Sadly, this room was tired, although clean.

The windows rattled in their frames. The windows were crying in the morning! So much condensation.

The bed was okay but the pillows were dreadful. We had to use 3.

When they renovate this motel they seriously need to just gut and start from the ground up. Electric hot points not working or lose, no hot point in the bathroom for our electric toothbrush or hair dryer.  Dangerous power multi-board behind the microwave, with ports not working. Lighting was dreadful with light switches in strange places.

 Overall, this motel has had its day. It was clean - the only plus - but so tired and seriously needs complete renovation. There was no value for money with this place.

Mould around the toilet needs to be updated id say fair price $80 a night not $120 bed was uncomfortable had a tiny little kitchen which was good shower wasnt the greatest either sorry but wouldnt come back
