My husband and I stayed at this hotel recently while we were skiing at Mount Ruapehu. We had the best time here due to the great service of Chris Griffin (owner and manager). He went above and beyond for us such as assisting with our laundry (and not charging for it) and was always available e.g. we mentioned that our shower was a bit blocked at 8pm and said he could have a look at it in the morning. Instead he fixed it immediately! The ski lifts were closed on one day due to poor weather and we stayed in our room watching movies from his DVD collection and eating chocolate eclairs bought from the store down the road.
