1 reviewFor a group ski trip, we booked this place and were not disappointed. A total of 6 six adults and 5 children stayed for 5 nights very comfortably. With two separate lounge rooms, each with a fire place and sky tv, plus a separate dining rooms, space was not an issue. It was a real treat after a day of shredding the mountain, to come home, crack a beer and soak in the outdoor spa listening to the sheep in the paddock, gazing upon said mountain. The very well equipped kitchen was ready for any culinary challenge we were prepared to throw at it and with a drying room in the garage, we were well rested, warm and dry to prepare our assault on the mountain the next day. Tairoa ski fields are about 20 minutes away. Whakapapa ski fields are about 40 minutes away. Whakapapa has the superior beginners area. Ohakune is only 5 minutes away. Highly recommended place to stay. The helpful owners made sure that the fires were lit for our arrival and made sure that we were comfortable before leaving us to our own devices. Great family holiday venue if there is a large group.
