45 reviewsWe were unsure from the photos, but though dated , almost ‘retro’ we were pleasantly surprised. Gone are the flowery bed covers and the sheets were pristine clean. It had all the amenities we needed for a family of four with two teenagers, well stocked full kitchen and drinks (including hot chocolate) sugar, salt & pepper toiletries etc, plenty of tea towels, washing up liquid etc. The bathroom had plenty of towels, toilet rolls and toiletries for 4 people. There was a choice of sleeping options (with 5 single beds as well as a double). The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom, lounge and kitchen downstairs. Our double room overlooked the racecourse and the unit was set back from the road so nice and quiet. The unit was serviced daily and staff were on site and easy to find if you needed anything ( not that we did). More than I can say for 4 & 5 star hotels we have stayed in! Not flash, not new, but clean, welcoming with a full kitchen and all the space and comforts you need for a family. We would definitely stay here again ❤️
