Property in a very good location and fairly easy on street parking (at a cost). The room in the attic was nicely finished but (as we were warned) had no windows and just a skylight which did feel a little claustrophobic. It also had the smallest fridge I have ever seen - could have done with something larger (there was the room for one)

Nice property recently renovated.  Little challenging the self check-in but I would recommend the property.

Location and space to relax. We stayed 1 night and were pleasantly surprised how perfect the room was. totally recommend this property.

Despite being a self check in hotel all went well. Instructions are clear and accurate - but read instructions carefully. Great location, quiet, very good AC but takes a little while to cool the large loft-like space. Impressive modern industrial design but dark colors throughout can make it hard to see things. Great service. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is just two blocks from the octagon where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Also with in walking of many sites you would want to see and museums. Hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had a kitchen and there was a grocery store within three blocks so we could breakfast in the suite. Having a separate bedroom allowed for one early riser to be able to hang out in living area and have coffee . Convenient  to almost everything

Here’s a polished and more fluid version of your review:We were dropped off right at the doorstep by the airport shuttle in central Dunedin, which was so convenient. The hotel kindly stored our bags while we explored, and we popped into Maggie’s, one of the many charming cafes surrounding the area.Our room was lovely—tucked up in the eaves, it featured a large, comfortable bed, hot drink facilities, and a gorgeous ensuite complete with luxurious toiletries and fluffy towels.For dinner, we headed to the Octagon, a perfect spot with its many bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a delicious meal and a relaxing drink in this vibrant setting, just a short walk from the hotel.When we returned, we closed the skylight, making the room so dark and cozy that we slept for hours—absolutely perfect! For this price point, it was an excellent experience overall.

Choose this property for it location in proximity to the Octagon.  Had tickets for a performance at the Regent, which was a few minutes walk away, and the dining establishments were numerous and close by.   It is a self check in, which works well, just be sure to read your email for door codes and parking information.   Cleaning staff is available in the morning only.  No staff on site, during the afternoon or evening.

Great central location to stay for a getaway in town.  So close to the Octagon and all the bars and resaturants.The Attic suite was cosy and warm.  Very comfortable bed.  Nice big shower, however, the shower head is a bit of a pain and the wall mount needs tightening as the head wants to spray the water up.  Could use a more flexible type hose on the shower head too.  Also there is no toilet roll holder. No big issue - just strange!  Would stay there again as the price was not bad.

We stayed at The Chamberson in a Nest Suite for one week. Upon entering our suite we knew we had chosen the right place to unwind, to explore and to just be. It was everything we needed, from the colour palette of the suite, to the views out the large windows with the sun streaming in, to the convenience to all that Dunedin has to offer. Yes it was a little noisy on Saturday night but we were right in the heart of the CBD so we expected some noise. We also booked a car spot which was incredibly convenient (thankfully we had a little car), and a late check out which was a luxury.We would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in the heart of Dunedin to make their home at The Chamberson (although secretly we wish we could keep it to ourselves!)So much so that we hope to return in the very near future for another little break away from reality. Thanks to all the staff at The Chamberson. You guys have an amazing hidden gem that is run like clock work with efficient communication, considerate cleaners and all in an amazing spot. Loved it x

When we booked this property did not realize it was a self serve style with no check in or concierge staff, unless you messaged or called them.  The property was spotless, room was beautiful and comfortable.  Instructions provided via email were clear though one had to read the details.  The welcome manual was also useful (read this and found the utensils).  We will recommend this property to others for sure.

My partner and I are had travelled from Canada and it was our first time in Dunedin and New Zealand in general.  We stayed in "The Loft" at The Chamberson for 3 nights and we could not have been more pleased with everything.  The apartment was large and very stylish, the kitchen was fabulous, bed extremely comfortable and the location could not be beat.  We would highly recommend staying at The Chamberson and if we travel back, we will definitely stay there again!!

Great hotel with large rooms, separate sitting / dining area. The only issue was the carpark with so little space to get in/ out, my husband ended up scratching the car on the side while trying to get out with a hefty insurance excess to pay. Very disappointing after having such a great time at the hotel.
