This was our first stop in New Zealand and wow did Fay and Lindsey set the bar very high for the rest of the 5 week trip. Beautifully decorated rooms and accommodation with great and plentiful breakfasts. We stayed here 3 nights to see Christchurch and rest up after flying in. The hosts gave great advice on what to see as its difficult to see it all. They are rebuilding the city very successfully after the Earthquake seven years ago. The Quake Museum is a must to understand the devastation and rebuilding required. Tram dinner was superb and much fun. The location is easy to find and a 10 minute drive from town also easy for the airport. It’s a lovely city and we also explored Akaroa one day which was beautiful and spectacular countryside. A great stay and highly recommended for travellers.
