Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park & Motel

We had a powered site & were met at reception by Wendy & Chris, they are lovely people and keep the park in a beautiful & spotless condition. Wifi is excellent, facilities are very good & location is within 5 minutes from the beach. I can't recommend this campground highly enough. Thanks Wendy & Chris for your friendly approach & presentation of your lovely campground. A+++++

Had a wonderful time in this little slice of heaven right on the beach. Great staff, clean facilities, perfect for kids to get together and have fun. Lovely walks on the beach bring you right to the Moeraki Boulders and a 15 minute drive to yellow eyed penguins!

We stayed here in a non power site for two nights could easily of stayed longer. Infact we will be back. The owner is rather eccentric but it takes all types right? The facilities were without a doubt the cleanest I've ever seen in a holiday park setting. And adored the nostalgia of the signatures in the kitchen thanks guys!

I was last here 5 years ago, my children younger, we stayed in the well kept clean cabins. Years prior when we lived up the road in Oamaru, this was our place to getaway, enjoy the fresh outdoors.  My boys jumped on the trampoline, we walked to the Boulders, collected treasures on the beach, delighted in seeing the yellow eyed penguins and playful fur seals nearby! My children now at Uni, I return, rent the wee yellow retro caravan and celebrate watching the next generation of young families enjoy this slice of timeless paradise! Thank you Alex and Mel for creating such an amazing place!

We had beautiful camping weather and this camping spot is really somewhere special. Friendly reception, super clean and such a beautiful place to explore. Big lawn area for games and fun space for kids. Cool range of things to do. We loved the bikes provided. Thanks

Absolutely enjoyed our limited stay here. 
The facilities are a bit older but immaculately clean and the hosts are very welcoming.
Loved the proximity to the sea and the town, will happily stay here again.

We stopped here to break up our drive to the Catlins. What a gorgeous camping ground, and the host who greeted us was friendly, helpful and a great guy. The grounds were immaculate, and very family friendly. Highly recommend a visit.

Clean facilities, good sized and well equipped cabin, friendly operator. WiFi not included, no Vodafone or 2 degrees coverage at cabins.
Handy to the Moeraki boulders. Would definitely stay again. Kids had a great time on the bikes, thanks 

We recently stayed for one night at Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park and loved it. Such a quirky, cool little site. We arrived later in the evening and the customer service was great. We stayed in one of the caravans as it was similar to one we used to own. We loved it! Thank you for a great stay!

Great place to stay. Lovely location right by the beach. Super helpful and friendly  hosts.  Told us best local places for food and coffee. Very clean and tidy. Fantastic wee motel unit.  Great place for kids. Highly recommend.

A wee GEM

A wee gem of a place

A slice of family paradise!

We've stayed here a few times now and absolutely love it. We've stayed in the cabins and in our tent and find the facilities great. Love being able to hear and see the sea from our accommodation.
It's awesome for families as there are 2 trampolines as well as bikes and a stationary boat for the kids to play on.
We find the hosts very friendly and helpful. Super close to the beach and river. Perfect get-away spot.

Fantastic family holiday destination 

Great camp with powered and non powered sites very clean and tidy the owners do a great job looking after it and are friendly and helpful the non powered sites have a great sea view and lots of space there is a kitchen ,aundry ,and bbq for guests to use and play area for kids. The beach wall ends up at the Moeraki boulders. There is a pub and takeaway and four square. Well worth a look. Was a long weekend and loved  our visit the campers are all very friendly. thanks andrea and carl

We stayed here for 1 night on our way south in our camper van.  The owners are very friendly and advised what times to visit the Moeraki Boulders around the tides and also the penguins at the lighthouse. The also recommended local restaurants including Fleurs Place which we ended up going to and it was amazing!
The site is clean and tidy with showers, kitchen, lounge and a laundry.
At $38 for a powered site it was great value compared to other sites.
