The establishment is under new management, undergoing much needed maintenance, cleaning and upgrading. The owners are honest about the pre-existing issues and are receptive to any input, good or bad . They plan on making as many improvements as cashflow allows this year.

Was very grateful that they let us check in at 11pm after our long trip to get there

It’s a very nice and clean place， close to town center. there is a small shop and also provide some hot food which is very conveinent. The staff are very friendly

Very friendly owners, and accommodation was great. Interesting local artisans and wineries. Be careful turning in from the Main Road as it is quite close to a busy intersection.

home away from home staff were lovely and very friendly very safe for kids to play what i loved the most they had a shop at the back door you could get any think you wanted ,we had trouble with our car the staff went the extra mile to help us late a night . we have stayed at a lot of motels in nelson this one is the best in nelson .

in spite of the traffic noise, I slept very well. Handy having the shop on-site.

Close to where we wanted to be. Handy to everything in Richmond and Nelson.

Nice, clean rooms. Good sized room for a family. Out in the country, but has a convenience store and takeaway shop on site.

Nice and tidy and clean.  Good sized rooms.  The shop was a handy extra and had amazing real fruit ice cream.

Best motel in nelson

New management

Great stay

Great wee place and was perfect for elderly parents  and me .  Two single beds and  a double in the  lounge  - very roomy and  also had a big bathroom and wet shower which was a bonus.  was a bit of road noise
