I travel alot staying in many lovely motels but the Milton Chalet was the first one I have ever unpacked at and felt settled and at home.  I loved my stay

The chalet was very cosy and comfortable and had everything could think of for a family. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and accommodating to any requests. Would stay again.

It was great to have our dog with us and the carport facility was great for loading and unloading as it was pouring with rain.

So friendly, fun and clean! Awesome spot x

We went over to Nelson for an Obedience show. Being allowed our dogs in the Motel is just awesome.  The proprietor made us and our dogs feel very welcome . Would use this motel again.

Our host was very friendly, and could not do enough for us to make our stay homely, being dog friendly was the key but dog or no dog we could not fault, thanks heaps

The hosts were warm and welcoming, very accomodating.  Very clean rooms.

It was all that we needed, clean, quiet and comfortable

While the unit may have been a little dated it is very spacious and comfortable.  It was exceptional clean and the owners were very friendly.  Beds were comfortable and we were very happy with our accommodation.  My only complaint would have been the strange small in the cupboard where the crockery was kept but I know these units are going to be updated so it was no big deal.  We also had a carport for the car right at the door.  Great location with easy access to town and even had a swimming pool.  Would definitely stay again next time we are in Nelson.

Very comfortable and spacious

This motel changed hands in September 2018 and is under an extensive refurbishment process by the current owners.  All of my unit had been completed except for the upright stove and this was explained to be by the owner at check in.  
I chose this motel as I was attending a wedding at Founders Park and it was a 10 minute walk in heels to the wedding.  The unit also had a pool which sadly I didn't have time to use.  Also within walking distance a Sprig and Fern pub serving food and an excellent take away shop serving multiple cuisines only 4 minutes walk.

The new owners have worked hard to make these motels a clean and safe option for your stay and are super friendly and accommodating.

I stayed 3 nights 1-4 Feb 2019, booked direct and was very happy with my stay.

It may have old bones but it has been refurbished

Really accommodating host, who makes every effort to help out. The motel has recently changed ownership, and is being quickly updated and renovated. They are about half way done at the moment. Rooms we stayed in are currently older but spacious, good free wifi, everything works fine. Staff were very kind and helpful, very welcoming. Recommend this motel for your Nelson adventure.

Clean, convenient, affordable

Great service, good price that allowed us to take our dog. Great location

Nice and tidy. Service was great. Shower was amazing. Beds are very old feeling and uncomfy to sleep on and the couch was also very uncomfy and made it hard to relax at night after a busy day.
