This was perfect accommodation in a great location, only a few hundred metres from Fairlie township..
The cottage was modern, very clean and had everything you could want.
The outdoor covered seating area was great. It was a nice and peaceful place to stay.
The hosts were also really nice.

We stayed in Rollesby with the amazing hot tub. We were welcomed by the friendly host. Everything about Musterers is superb! It has everything you need, super clean, comfortable bed, we absolutely loved every second of our stay didn’t want to leave!

Excellent hosts - very friendly and go above and beyond to offer clean and well appointed  accommodation and a property that is presented to a very high standard. 
Native plantings around each unit give privacy and hot tubs are a treat.
Parking for 4 campers with beautiful views

The easiest 5 star rating i could give for our New Zealand trip. A home away from home. Everything is done so well. From the perfect design to outdoor hot tub, to the bedding and bathroom. This place is faultless. After 3 weeks of travelling we needed a place to rest. The Musterers was the perfect location. It gave a peace. Jackie and Murray provided the perfect experience for us, and we were so grateful. Do yourself a favor and stay here. If you can certainly pay the extra for the hot tub experience as Fairlie is a fantastic area for viewing stars. Which we could do from the hot tub. While also looking at the mountains. Also try going to the famous Fairlie bakery for lunch. Thank you so much Murray and Jackie. It was perfect.

The accommodation was great and the service exceptional.
The unit we had was simple but well equipped and impeccable.  
We left shoes behind and they were exceptionally helpful, safety retrieved a few days later.
Better than as advertised.

Absolutely five stars! Everything from the luxurious linens and towels to features like a washer and dishwasher! The freshwater hot tub is worth every penny! I highly recommend paying the extra to have this luxury! The cabins themselves are cosy and well appointed. Everything you will need! The privacy of the back deck was awesome. 
Jackie and Murray are excellent hosts. They go way above and beyond to make you comfortable. Muster’s is a must stay if you are in the fairlie area! Can’t wait to come back!

Traveling south for work I broke up the drive with a night in Fairlie, and again a week later on my return. Fairlie offered fantastic fashion and retail, plus great dining options, incl. the Fairlie Bakehouses famous pies and points of interest. 
... But the best surprise was the high standard of my accommodation! 
Conveniently located in Fairlie (& to Lake Tekapo) I felt nestled away from the rest of the world in my private sanctuary, complete with the option of a private hot tub. 
The units were immaculate and well equipped, the hosts were very informative and accommodating. Undercover parking a bonus too. 
This was a perfect starting point, and eagerly awaited end, to a busy week on the road.  I plan to return for pleasure as night at Musterers Accommodation Fairlie felt like a holiday! The perfect escape from Christchurch. 

Fantastic vosit in every respect. Large studio lodge with car port, huge bed, sitting area, kitchen, washer/dryer, deck and hot tub. Easy access to covered BBQ area with seating.
We were met by owner Jackie who explained where everything was. The owners are clearly extremely diligent and attentive. The quality of the fixtures and fittings (bed, bedding, sofa, tv, washer dryer etc) are high end. Everything is spotlessly clean, the grounds beautifully manicured and everything works. 
The booking of the hot tub was well worth it. Great views in a private setting. The early morning dip at 42c was brilliant.
This was a great visit. The location is faultless and delivers great quality at a very reasonable cost. An absolute must for a visit. 
Thank you for such a lovely stay on almost our last day in the incredible New Zealand.

Totally blown away by the quality and care put into this accommodation by its owners. Great cabins, comfortable and luxurious. LOVED the hot tub!! Unfortunately we only planned a one night stay. Sad that we’re not planning to stay longer now! Sensational!

Murray was so kind and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us in our time of need when we left our accommodation. We will remember you for for all your help that you have rendered to us. Not only that we enjoyed ourselves in your cosy chalet which was very well equipped with all the creature comfort. Only thing was we wished the weather was not so rainy for us to explore around. Otherwise it's a wonderful place to stay. We will stay here again if we ever come back without a second thought. Thank you so much . Jeremy & friends.

AMAZING!!!

The perfect escape & end a busy day! 

Brilliant Affordable Luxury

Fantastic, helpful, friendly and kind.

Jackie is a great hostess. She even organized with Carnegies the local restaurant and bar to get us in before a large group booking. The accommodation was superb and the hot tub outside our place was amazing. 
We have always travelled through Fairlie but this time we stopped and so glad we did.
A lovely spot to stay... and the pies at the local bakery are devine
 

Spur of the moment decision to stop... very rewarding

I chose this because I wanted a hot tub. It exceeded my expectations. The units were quite close to each other but the landscaping with lots of native plants meant it was totally private. The accommodation was really well set up. And I had a private freshwater Scandinavian style cedar hot tub to use when and as I wanted. Superb. The only downer was the clouds refused to leave so no stars. Excellent & friendly  reception/service too.

Luxury on a budget

Murray would have to be one of the best hosts we have ever encountered in all our years of travelling. He is 100% committed to providing excellent customer service to his guests.
We stayed in Rollesby which is the studio cabin. We found it to be clean, spacious and complete with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the kitchen facilities and washing maching were super handy. The hot tub was a lovely respite from our road trip and the orientation meant we still felt as though we were the only ones there, despite there being several other occupied cabins nearby. We definitely plan to return.

Deserves more than five stars!

Lovely place to stop on the cross country drive from Queenstown to Christchurch.
Immaculately clean, well presented cottages that really are 5* (but without the 5* price tag.)  We were only disappointed that we'd booked the one night instead of two!
We paid the extra to have the hot tub and it was glorious to sit in and look at the stars after dinner.  We'd made sure to pick up our pies from the Fairlie Bakehouse to have for dinner too.
We'll be back!

Our new favourite stopover!

On our trip around the south island we chose Fairlie as an overnight stay as it fitted our driving schedule. The Musterer's accommodations is a little bit outside of  town, bur still in walking distance. The unit we had was super clean,  excellent equipped and very quiet. Murray was very helpful with everything including a restaurant booking for dinner. Couldn't have found anything better.
