Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you.

It was a great place stay. Close to the city centre and amenities. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

I liked the feel of the property. Many say it’s a hole. I say not. I have been back again and will keep going back. A little TLC could be had. But adds to the character. And the helpful service staff make you over look this.

Had a blast great inviting atmosphere accommodation was awesome no need for blankets natural geothermal heating during summer. Amazing hostess named Alice exceeded my expectations thank you so much for your hospitality. Will definitely be returning. Close to town and kuirau park.

Great value, everything we needed was there and to top it off the pool was heated naturally with the thermal hot water that was located at the property

Much better than what I expected going by other reviews. Hosts were awesome. Communication was ongoing right up until we left. Spa near our room was clean and amazing, sauna was top notch. Room we stayed in was brilliant, was clean and smelt really nice. Loved how it was set up for how many were booked to stay and they didn't mind that we had visitors while there. Parking was also perfect.

I don’t like leaving negative feedback. Alice in reception is very friendly and lovely, the thermal springs were fantastic unfortunately that the best this accommodation has. Our room #9 is very tired, wall heaters hardly worked, linen was clean although no spare blankets, only three power outlets, 1 for tv, 1 for our heater then 1 to share for the kettle, microwave, toaster & anything else that might need charging. Water in shower was very very hot & not easy to adjust making the steel base difficult to stand on. We had talked about staying two nights in Rotorua, we still are but have moved & are only paying $15 more for the night.

We were late to check in and staff was very accommodative. Much appreciated.Price for the stay was cheap and we know it comes with the tag. We got a bigger house instead of two rooms we actually booked. The house was untidy, had cockroaches. There was no hot water in the night from the point we checked in and came next morning. Heaters did not work, so gave us coupe of portable heaters. Overall, we were disappointed.

Over all it was a good experience. We booked a lodge for 3 people, it was a spacious room with its own toilet, kitchenette, microwave, fridge, tv, fan , in short , all that we required for our short stay. They also have an outdoor pool and sauna . Staff was helpful, we had a small issue with the fridge , but stafff fixed it for us immediately. It’s not that new or fancy, but it’s nice, cosy and clean

This is an interesting older lodge in an excellent location, not far from the edge of the town centre.  Genuine outdoor hot mineral pools is an excellent feature.  Alice in the office gives a friendly welcome and was very helpful during our stay. Room had some 'rough edges' and some old fixtures and bathroom but is decent for the good price with good facilities and is warm, comfortable and well cleaned.  Overall recommended if you want a well priced room in a good location and are willing to overlook some  rough edges.

We checked in really late but the guy who received us was really nice and friendly. His partner, a lady whom we met the next morning was even more friendly.The room we stayed in was okay for the price we paid. There were man-made hot springs which we didn't get the chance to soak in (we were busy) but we understand why a senior couple we met has stayed at the place three times in the last two years. The place is value for money.
