A somewhat tired, but not unclean room. 

Nice amenities, including complimentary (but simple) breakfast in the room. Great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer also.

Room decor was a bit faded and old, with chipped paint and generally tired. 

Air conditioning unit was too noisy to have on at night unfortunately.

However the bed was comfortable enough which is what counts.



An Acceptable Hotel But Somewhat Tired

Clean, quiet. Lovely balcony with view over park. Queen street, central location. Friendly helpful staff. The chocolate biscuits were a nice touch. Room had everything I needed. Free wifi. And all of this for only $150!

I visited with my 7 month old daughter and everyone was incredibly helpful from start to finish. My daughter experienced a medical emergency and Bree, the manager, personally delivered our bags to the hospital! What a service ❤️ 

Best service!

Clean and bedding comfortable. Over looked park which was quieter than our friends rooms over Queen St. loud fridge and air conditioning  unit not working well. Lost our room card but manager let us into our room thankfully. But at a cost of an additional $150. Good customer service.

A decent place for the night. Bedding pretty good, cleaner than most in Auckland. Amenities in the room almost 5* (No Oven) otherwise cooktop, microwave and all other kitchen bits. Laundry in the bathroom which is handy for a few night traveler.  600m to Queen St hub. Heaps of food around. 

Would recommend for a cost effective tourist home base. 

Hotel obviously used for longer stay down and out people and while it’s great they are housed it isn’t a hotel I would ever pick for business or holiday stay. Room smelt musty, everything was old though it was clean there were cigarette butts on tiny deck. Foyer stank of cigarette smoke and dodgy type folk came in and out.

Not a pleasant stay

Stayed for one night in a nice sized studio room with a tiny balcony over looking Myers Park. Clean, up to date and fresh room.
Queen bed was comfy, the foam pillows not the best.  Very small shower stall and small, but powerful, shower head. 
Well equiped studio kitchen. In room recycling and the majority multi use products.
Staff were all friendly, professional and efficient. There was banging and movement and internal noises, circa 4am. Irksome but not terrible.
Neat location at the top end of Queens Street. Lots of local restaurants around, walkable to the downtown/ waterfront and on the bus route.  
Would recommend and stay again.

Perfectly Fine.

Great central city location. Perfect place to stay if you are going to shows in town. The first night (a Saturday night) was really noisy so I was initially regretting my choice… but it got better.  Sunday and Monday nights were much better. Bring earplugs.

The staff are outstanding. Couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and super clean. Good size. VERY comfy bed, but I will bring my own pillow next time.  

Great little kitchen with everything we needed. Small fridge with ice box. Shower is small but good.  Aircon/heat pump worked well. 

Car parking onsite is tight for bigger cars.  But we coped. 

I would definitely stay again but maybe not on a Friday or Saturday night.

Great location, clean, spacious room and fabulous friendly staff. Good value for money.

This hotel is clean, has a comfortable bed and is affordable.  The hotel staff is great and super friendly.   I gave it 3 stats because it has a very dated interior, front desk staff leave at 9pm and there is an actual key, not key cards.  This is not a negative review, but the reader should know that this is a true well run 3 star hotel.  Don't come with 5 star expectations.

When we arrived we are greeted by the receptionist and and they are very accommodating. We arrive early and  our room was ready so we had an early check in.  
We were so happy for the room we booked it is spacious and very nice. It has everything what we need for, the room as 1 bedroom with kitchen and living room. Our view was so nice you can see the sky tower, view of the city.
They had breaky at the hotel as well as part of our booking (breakfast included).
