I vist the Netherlands regularly. I thought I’d go to Zaandsvoort 22 years after my first visit. Fabulous little seaside town and the prices are bit more reasonable.(still not cheap) The hotel staff were great, they serviced my room every morning to a great standard, it’s peaceful (which is important to me) and clean. For the price it was perfect. I never had breakfast so I can’t comment on that. If you’re looking to travel or go to Amsterdam I can’t tell you enough to stay outside of the city. You will get a much higher standard of hotel and staff. Also the Netherlands is very small so you’re never more than 30/40 mins on the train to anywhere. (Tram services are also cheap and punctual) Highly recommend.
