Hotel Herberg Rijsbergen

Located convieniently on the edge of the village, this old characteristic mansion is a nice stay for someone who prefers the peacefull tranquility of the country side above the more crowded, touristical hotels. Owners are very hospitable and trustful. You have free access to the kitchen where you can take all the drinks and snacks you want as long as you register this on a list. The house has plenty public rooms to sit, a library where you will find an assortiment of books as well as a large garden. We could not find a television or computer, which only adds to the peachfulness of the place. The room we were in (no 1) was large, sparsely but efficiently furnished and neat. Also no television here. The shower was a bit old and smelled damp but was clean and adequate. Breakfast was good. The owners had also catered for a gluten free diet.
