Bernadette is a wonderful hostess, she really does what she can to make you feel at home. She even packed me some sandwiches for breakfast on my final day since I had to leave very early. She speaks perfect English. The room is very spacious, very comfortable. The bed was much softer than I'm used to, but other than that everything was just fine. Everything was very clean, even the shared bathroom didn't feel like I was sharing at all, I always found it empty and it was always clean. Breakfast was wonderful, with hot bread fresh out of the oven, cold cuts, jam, boiled egg, fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, and coffee. The location is just fine, about a 10 minute walk to the beach and the street with the main restaurants and big hotels. There are a few options for buses nearby, if you need to go to Leiden, Katwijk, or the Hague. And the wifi worked perfectly in the room!
