Bungalowpark De Gouden Spar

I had a very nice stay at this park during 2023. We came in with a group which was not a problem. Booking was smooth, even when we had to transfer the booking to someone else due to someone not being able to make it to the trip. The park had no facilities of its own like a pool, a bar/restaurant or a small convenience store. But we were just a few minutes away from 2 different towns with plenty to do, a short drive away from a good amusement park, and within biking distance of a beach. Not much to complain about there. The houses were very nice. I had booked one of the "smaller" and less luxurious houses, but even that one felt plenty luxurious. The kitchen was a bit small but was fully-featured, beds were comfortable, and there was a decently sized TV in the living room with an HDMI port to boot. The yards were also surprisingly big, each house had its own fenced and hedged-off yard to sit in with full privacy, a pleasant surprise after staying at other parks where you could hear your neighbor sneeze. The park's houses are far enough away from the public roads that you don't even hear the cars at night. The park was nice and quiet, and staff were pretty friendly during check-in and check-out. The nearest bus stop was a little far away, but there were restaurants nearby and you can get ubers or bike rentals fairly easily. Ordering food to the park was also not a problem. That said, if you plan to stay at this park and you're not coming by car, I strongly suggest renting a bike at the nearby town (or at the park, but they had ran out of them when we checked). In summary, while the park might not be fully-featured with restaurants, pools and activities... for the price and for the amount of peace you get, it's a pretty good option. If you're just looking for some peace & quiet then I can strongly recommend this one.
