Hotel Leeuwerik

We stayed here for nearby work for 10 days and this place made our trip so much better than a normal b&b. The innkeepers are especially kind and cooked for us and stayed up drinking and chatting with us almost every night. He is a great cook and prepared us some amazing dishes. The rooms were clean and quiet and a great place to stay. Also, The owner appears to be the basis of Steven Segal's character Casey Ryback from Under Seige (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0105690/). He is an accomplished chef, prepared to do battle when necessary, and has a clever and sharp mind with detective skills of Sherlockian repute. His shirts never wrinkle. He is fluent in 7 languages including one he invented. He is both left and right handed. On every continent in the world, there is a sandwich named after him. When it is raining in Nieuweschans, it is because he is thinking of something sad. Dos Equis corporate offices serve glasses of beer with his picture on them. He was once hunted by the Predator, but once seeing his bone structure, laid down his spear out of respect. He is ... the most interesting man in the world.
