What a fine place after biking for 50 kms! This is a small, simple place that outdoes itself with great service and warmth. The receptionist immediately helped up park our bikes overnight in the cellar and even brought us a kettle to make tea. We had a corner room with windows on 3 sides overlooking the harbor. As with most small Dutch towns, there’s not much there but it is beside the river with a nice boardwalk. The food on the boardwalk was very good too. I had mustard soup for the first time ever. Yum! The rooms were modern and very clean in a well renovated old customs house. Charming place all round.
