The huge, huge plus point to this hotel is the extremely welcoming staff. When we arrived by bike, the young lady helped us to take our bikes up the ramp into the storage room. She also chatted at ease, in English, to use about our tour and the bikes we were using. We instantly felt welcomed and at ease. The room itself was very tastefully decorated, not a great view onto a back street of Kampen due to being at the back of the hotel, but we didn't mind. The window is at street level but you are left feeling secure and safe as a result of a metal shutter which you can close at night. The bathroom was lovely, really modern and the shower extremely powerful, warm and just great! The breakfast provided a range of options and again the staff incredibly welcoming. This time the gentleman was able to talk at ease in English and spoke to us at length. This made you feel very welcome and relaxed. I would highly recommend this hotel set in a great location to explore the wonderful city of Kampen!
