We've been there with our sailing team over and over again, and it's been great, as always, clean rooms, good breakfast, and a super nice helpful staff.

Wonderful subduing

All right! We like to be there, right by the water. The beautiful view at breakfast. The bedding is very clean. The house is simple, lots of different people. Parking is right outside the door. Thank you very much.

Repeat well!

The Stayokay served as the perfect place to stay for a weekend. We were a group of adults and children in the lodge. The location of the Stayokay near the Heeger Sea is ideal for the short-term enjoyment of water sports. The lodge was clean and tidy, staff always striving to meet the individual's wishes. Breakfast and buffet in the evening were exceptionally successful. The evening rounds at a social beer could be spent in the Stayokay. For the children, the hostel was a wonderful adventure, in no moment the children were taken off. The walkways were in good condition. Overall, it was a nice stay, we were happy to come back.

Sailing weekends

I have stayed in over 10 different stayokay hostels and they are generally very good. However, stayokay Heeg is by far the worst. The room was small and dirty and the staff were the most unfriendly of anywhere I've stayed in the Netherlands. Also, the place was overrun by large groups of school kids with loud music blasting until 10pm and general teenagers messing about noise until around 2am most nights. Overall this place was terrible and poor value for money.

The staff were very friendly and they were happy to meet all our wishes, and because we had to leave too early, we got a generous lunch package.

Quiet Jugi with a very friendly staff

The hostel is very nice on a canal with many sailing boats. The facility has maritime charm. The breakfast was simple but good. An optional dinner was 17,- per person and for the offered very expensive, so we would rather recommend eating outdoors. Our C was very clean, but it was very small, there was only a chair and a desk. WC and shower were accessible from the room in 2 tiny separate rooms, the equipment must have been for many decades. Washbasins and mirrors were again in the room itself. then already in modern German youth hostels or hostels, we are sure to be disappointed. Even according to the old rooms, the tapestry doors on the corridor sprinkle.

Nice boathouse atmosphere with small restrictions

This hostel is really fantastic! Wow, what a great view! Even in bad weather you can sit inside and enjoy the view. The rooms are great, clean. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Food can be excellent here too. Everything is highly recommended!

Great waterfront hostel with a sensational terrace!

I've known the Stayokay Heeg for years, since we've been nearby on our sailboat and we like to enter the house's bar in the evening. In fact, there's the only reasonably soaked pills in the Heeg in the 0.5 liter format at a reasonable price, and of course, there's a lot going on there in the evening. Now we had to work on the boat and we slept three nights and ate dinner. What's better than spending the evening in a nice environment like the Stayokay Heeg, maybe drinking another beer and then climbing into the cozy, ultra-warm high bed? No, really, the hostels are great!!

Stayokay Heeg - A place to feel comfortable

We very much enjoyed our stay, while outside it was cold, sunny, windy, with rain and hail. Great November skies! We took our boat out of the water (without me falling into it this time :) Inside it was warm and cosy. Thank you to the crew that makes it all work so well! 

Great stay in November

The Stayokay is right by the water, so you can get a boat right there. You can also sit outside for dinner. The food is good. The breakfast is varied. Unfortunately the rooms are still quite old. At least if you have an eight-bedroom. The four and two-bedroom are a bit new. They should be upgraded. But the rooms are clean. If you don't mind, you have a good possibility of staying right by the water with a balcony.
