B&B Groot Maarslag

We came to the Groningen / Friesland area to explore my husband's ancestoral "home". The B&B is wonderful. Room was very large with a sitting area. Wi-fi was invaluable. Pia and Roelof were great hosts with helpful suggestions and an invaluable map! Breakfasts were delicious and typical Dutch fare...with some wonderful egg dishes. The location was perfect for us, and we loved the farm setting. If you are visiting for Groningen City, this may be more of a drive than you'd want. You are in the countryside. A car is essential. But if you want to be part of the real Dutch country experience, I can't imagine a better place to stay.
