Herberg Restaurant 't Zwaantje

Herberg ’t Zwaantje is a restaurant located in the Groesbeek forrest next to the Mookerheide and offers, besides 7 rooms, breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner. Cuisine is typical bourgeois Dutch. Don’t expect fine dining. You dine inside or, weather depending, at the terrace. Service is friendly and attentive. We came on a rainy weekday and the spacious restaurant was busy but not full, a good sign. We saw that the establishment holds the title ‘Purveyor to the Royal Court’. We had Grodino as apéritif and went for Plaice Fillet à la Meunière with vegetables and fries accompanied by a glass of Pay’s d’Oc Chardonnay and a glass of Pino Grigio. The food was well presented and tasty. The fries were average. We ended with French coffee & Graham’s Port. When you fancy good food, restaurant ‘t Zwaantje is the place for you. Recommended.
