73 reviewsI don’t even know where to begin this review. This place is literally heaven on earth. Absolutely spotless clean, warm, cosy, relaxing and very romantic! The apartment is owned by Charles, but our host was Sjurd. This man literally goes above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble, he’s very attentive yet not intrusive and quite possible the kindest man we’ve ever met! our postcards will be kept always for our memories of this amazing place. We had the extra food/drinks package and we barely put a dent in the amount of items there were. Sjurd brought us fresh croissants and bread each morning and also baked us an apple pie which was out of this world! Candles and the fire were lit for us on arrive each night which was really thoughtful and welcoming after a long day of exploring the beautiful streets of Amsterdam. We was really surprised at the size of the garden area and the pond! It’s almost unbelievable from street view that such a beautiful garden could be on the other side.This place made the whole trip, it’s literally the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. Everyone we know has been asking where we had stayed and has commented on how amazing it looks. Again, Thank you so much, Sjurd. I’m sure you’ll be seeing us again on our next trip, lots of love.
