Kien Bed & Breakfast Studio's

I stayed at one of Kien Bed & Breakfast's studios for a total of five nights, and wouldn't hesitate to make another booking here again. It's really well located in a charming, safe, and quiet neighbourhood, and tourist attractions such as the Rijksmuseum are a stone's throw away (as well as a Metro station, too). Although we didn't go for the continental breakfast option, there were two major supermarkets not far away from which we could stock up on supplies, and lots of lovely restaurants - Buffet van Odette was a favourite. The studio itself was immaculately clean, and we appreciated having cooking facilities, a good assortment of crockerym and complimentary tea/coffee in the kitchenette. Martin was really communicative and helpful, especially when it came to checking us in. He and his team were always very good about asking whether we needed fresh towels, and whenever we did step out of the apartment, we would return to find it neatly and discreetly tidied up. The only points for improvement that I might mention - and they are very minor ones - are that the WiFi could sometimes be a bit patchy, despite having several WiFi networks to choose from, and that we found the shower head a little awkwardly positioned to use in the bathtub (if you accidentally jostled it, for instance, you'd suddenly find that the temperature changed completely to freezing or boiling water!). But again, these are only minor points, and I would love to stay here the next time I'm in Amsterdam.
