So pleased we ended up at this hotel. It was what we wanted however repeated requests via booking.com messages couldn’t guarantee twin beds, so I booked through their own website via MINIOR DISCOVERY group and joined. I then messaged the hotel directly and as a member we got our request guaranteed. The room 447 was spacious. Staff fantastic, very helpful with places to go further afield to see windmills. Room price was reasonable (seemed to go down and I had flexibility so re booked). Weirdly I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well in a hotel. Bed very comfy. Good pillows. Air con quiet and efficient. I do use ear plugs anyway but it seemed very quiet. Breakfast was great. No bacon on buffet but you can request it if that what you like but scrambled eggs, delicious tomatoes, frittata. Cheese, cold meats, salads, granola nuts fruit, yogurt, pastries, nice breads. Tea and coffee machines and fruit juices and healthy shots. Note there are two coffee machines. This hotel would be my first choice when visiting again. I’ve been a couple times to Amsterdam, this was my favourite hotel. Very comfortable, clean and top end of good value choices. Toiletries in bathroom and good hairdryer. If you forgo housekeeping you get free drinks vouchers for the bar. Spar supermarket very close by. Italian Trattoria Fantasia nearby delicious food. And go to A. van Wees restaurant/bar. Great food and staff and Dutch! Very welcoming.
