We had a great stay here on our way down from Everest Basecamp. It was the nicest place we stayed on the whole track. The room was spacious and very clean (including all the linens). The grounds were well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere. The shower had good water pressure and was hot.  And the Nepali- Chinese food we were served for dinner was flavorful, delicious and very different from anything we had on the rest of the trek.

I recently stayed at the Everest Summit Lodge in Monjo for two nights, and enjoyed it very much.  I am on a full-month individual custom trek to EBC and through the Khumbu. The idea was to have a touch of luxury to start the trek, and to give myself a chance to better acclimate to 9,200 ft elevation before tackling the Namche hill and higher elevations beyond,  since I live at sea level in California.  Upon arriving, we were greeted with friendly smiles, hot tea and lemon cake.  Very nice!  Though I was the only guest staying at the lodge at the time, the meals were delicious and freshly cooked, and the service impeccable.  Lovely room with attached bath and mattress warmer for the bed, and the hallway I was on actually had a heater which helped to keep everything warmer.  Very enjoyable and pleasant beginning to my trek, highly recommended!

Having spent the previous night in a very poor place in Namche Bazaar, it was a real treat to stay here after a longish walk. Food was very good, as was the service. Rooms were warm & the shower hot, so all good here.

We stayed here for two nights during our trek to Ama Dablam base camp. As with Lukla, both nights were quite full.  Our group felt that Monjo was the perfect stopping point for the night so we would be ready to tackle Namche hill in the morning.
Upon arrival we were greeting with hot towels, cake, tea and warm smiles.  The food for breakfast and dinner is delicious and plentiful.  Though our twin bedded room was a tad dark, the shower was hot and the electric blankets kept you warm at night.  
The grounds are very beautiful and had it been warmer I would have loved to sit outside and soak in the view.

Stayed here for 1 night of our excellent 9 day luxury lodge trek to Tengboche Monastery  organised by the excellent Above Himalaya tours.
Everest summit lodge in Mongo is positioned nicely to take full advantage of the mountains view.  This was day one of our Himalayan hike and we where in awe of our mountain surrounds. 
The traditional welcome of our excellent hosts and the beautiful hotel was great. The meals for dinner and breakfast was excellent as was the service. 
The room was nice , separate single beds was a surprise but they had electric blankets and where comfortable. No heating in rooms. Great hot showers. 
We enjoyed our stay,  off to Namche Bazaar.

Stayed for one night during a trek in the Khumbu region in early May 2017. Very comfortable and clean, with hot water 24 hours a day, bed warmers, and good food. We were given a triple room, even when we were just two (probably because the lodge was almost empty). Excellent service.

I stayed on december for my short trek and i chose this hotel for its brand name, location and facilites. 

During my check in the staffs were not aware of my check in and i am the only guest on this property that night.

its a small luxury hotel on top, staff are really helpful and attentive. the lady who served us on the breakfast was very gentle, friendly and always there to help us.

the disappointing parts - there was no internet on my visit.

we got the attic cozy room and i loved it so much.

i will definitely come back to this property on monjo.
