Tranquil Water Guest House Pokhara

The hotel is situated at around 10 minutes walking distance from the main market of Pokhara and is very close to the lake. The hotel offers good views of the Mount Annapurna & Mount Machapuchare that is just breathtaking. The staff and management was polite and helpful. There are lawns inside the property with some really good flowers. There's a gazebo situated in the middle of the lawn where a large group can sit toegther and relax. The rooms were clean with good beddings. Overall offers good value for money.

Nice Hotel!!

just Amazing!!!

Hotel itself was quit good but not good value for money. Stayed there 2 days and decided to leave. The reception just did not know the rates of the hotel when I checked in. The rates changed every 5 seconds. When I asked if they could call someone that might know they didn't.
The bed sheets weren't clean and atmosphere lacked in this hotel. 
Definitely overpriced, I stayed in comparable hotels for 12 dollars in stead of 30 dollars...

I got misguided by photos n reviews.

I did read one review about not choosing the hotel but ignored over other reviews. 

Checked in with family
Rooms quality: 5 / 10 ( small rooms)
Facilities: 3 / 10 ( wifi is poor n quality of bed isn't great compared to price)
Staff: 8/10 (courteous staff n thts why rated 2 star for this review)
Price: overpriced compared to similar or better properties around ( I had to show mail confirmation about agreed price which was lower than what manager was about to charge)
I would suggest to look for other options then choosing this hotel.

Don't go by Name n is overpriced hotel

Recently we have visited Nepal.In POKHARA, we checked in Hotel Taj,which we liked v.much initially. In the evening, when regular loadshading started,we saw there was no light connection in the toilet & the adjacent room.Only one low power bulb was there in the bed room( it was a delux 3 bed accommodation.The rest of the area was pitch dark& it was impossible to go to toilet.Again&again we called the reception& requested them to look after the matter, because it was v.v.urgent. but the fellow(I don't want to mention his name)didn't bother at all& passed 1&1/2 hour giving lame excuses. He didn't give the real picture & posed to be the manager & the owner at different times, when both Of them were not present.Finally we had to shout at him & that person was literally v.v.rude. to us.finally we contacted our. Trip manager &somehow managed one candle. Next day the manager gave the toilt light connection. But in the late night,about10 ,somebody rang us & asked whether we had locked the restaurant door.naturally it was impractical & impossible ,because a guest can never do that& moreover there was no electricity. So we didn't go.after15 minutes again someone called us from the reception(which was in the next building) & asked us why we didn't go down.in that floor & also in that building we were the only guest. We asked the reason& also his name.but he refused &asked to go down.naturally we became v.scared & in the morning we reported it to the manager, but his explanatoin didn't satisfy us at all. Anyway the next morning we checked out. After 15minuts my son reme mbered that he had forgotten his new jeans pant in the cupboard of the room. At once we returned, but there was notrace of the pant&the room was not yet cleand. We asked all of them,but nobody was. Ready to say anything. Surprisingly one of them only found out the pant behind from a v.unusual place ( can anybody guess?), it was hidden folded behind the blankets ,kept in the same cupboard. Can anybody imagine? We have never experienced such a situation .  It wsas so bitter experience for us .Perhaps we can never forget this.
