We booked our regional Nurses' conference (India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh) here the end of October 2019 for around 50 people.  The setting is breathtaking, even when the mountains are hiding.  The rooms are large, have big glass windows towards the mountains, an electric kettle ( :) ) and hot water for showers.  The dining area is roomy and accommodated our group easily.  There is a fireplace and sitting area in one corner which is wonderful for hanging out with friends.  The food was simple, healthy and delicious!  Several of our group couldn't have rice and the management were very accommodating and made them chapattis for every meal.  The conference room was a good size for our group.  Apart from a bit of trouble with extension cords being temperamental, and the carpet being a bit worn and a tripping hazard, the  conference room met our needs well.  

All in all, the Dhulikhel Village Resort was a great conference venue.  I would definitely come here again with a group, but also for a personal holiday with family or friends.  Highly recommended!

Gorgeous setting, nice facilities, perfect getaway!

I stayed at this resort while participating in the South Asia Regional Institute for the Study and Practice of Strategic Nonviolent Action. The food was delicious, and pleased the taste buds of international participants from several countries. I found the staff quite friendly and efficient -- Krishna, Ram, Pushp in particular. The housekeeping was excellent. The rooms were clean and well-maintained.

Apart from the hospitality of the owner and the manager, the mountain view offered by this hotel is really enchanting. If you want to take a clear view of the Langtang range and Gaurikshankar Himal from your breakfast table at a place closer to Kathmandu city, this is the Resort that you should choose.

We loved hospitality and good environment. We loved the hiking in 1000 steps (Hazaar Sidi) and Namobuddha. Lot of space forum around and enogh stay for hanging with friends, spacious restaurants. Excellent hospitality with helpful staff. Lot of place for hiking. The entrance to the resort does need some work. Parking spaces need to be managed.

I was in Dhulikhel Village Resort on  24 February 2017 and really had a great time. The surroundings were really peaceful and the view was really fantastic. The bed is also very comfortable with spacious bathroom. Highly recommended.

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu for a few days or are looking for a place to hold a seminar, I recommend the Dhulikhel Village Resort in Dhulikhel, about an hour from Kathmandu. Suddenly you are in the beauty of the mountains, clean air, and quiet. If the weather is clear, you can see the snow crested Himalayas. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff helpful.
