We stayed 2 nights at the Agama Lodge at the start of a 12 day tour of Namibia, and it was a great start to our tour. The lodge was beautiful, and it was great to see Warthogs and Oryx close to the pool area. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. We even celebrated our anniversary in the sky bed with canapes and a bottle of bubbly, though it did get a bit too windy and we had to retire to our bedroom. Dinners and breakfasts were good and plentiful with grilled game meats and fresh salads. 

Great start to our tour

Beautiful rooms, oryx and warthogs roaming freely around.  Clean, decent food and the best stargazing off of the roof top beds … slept there a whole night and amazing experience!  You have to go here , well done Agama !!

Speechless location. Great staff. Amazing food

We were a family of 5 (3 young children) using Agama as our basecamp to visit Sossusvlei. We couldn’t be more happy with this decision. The location is not next to the “attractions” however it is easily reachable driving the rental 4x4. This distance gave us the sense of isolation and peace. We had a chance to join an Agama organized trip/sundowner as well. Also here we couldn’t have been spending our hour any better: our kids loved it. The meals and the food was also quite good. I wish to be back here some day. 

Excellent Lodge, excellent staff, excellent experience

Most of the units here are freestanding small one room buildings, with a small private patio, large windows with great views and the option to sleep on the roof under the stars.  We didn’t do this because it was late May and there was a cold snap, and it would have been really chilly but I wish the weather has been on our side.  The night sky is amazing with very little light pollution.  It has a beautiful pool with an infinity edge.  
The food was great.
We were booked into this lodge as part of a mid level package through Wild Winds Safaris, and many thanks to them for providing this level of lodging as part of our trip-it was really a luxury experience and way beyond our expectations

Really beautiful.  

Went past with my guide for a drink, staff were friendly, they let us in to view the place and for drink, however the manager had a funny behaviour specially to my guide and  was not so friendly, I was staying at the Namib Desert Lodge Gondwana which is just next to it and was thinking to try Agama Lodge but due to the unwelcoming attitude of the manager, I decided not to stay here. Agama has a nice swimming pool but the places where people stay don't look as good as  Namib Desert Lodge Gondwana.

This is a very nice lodge with beautiful grounds and excellent chalets. There's a restaurant and bar on the premises as well as an infinity pool! Our chalet was quite spacious and well-appointed. WiFi worked most of the time but that's not why we were there! Agama's location is also excellent - it's about 30 km from Solitaire and a bit longer from Sesiriem, It has easy access to the dunes Soussusvlei and Deadvlei as well as the Naukluft National Park where once can see Mountain Zebras. The restaurant manager (Wimpie) went out of his way to accommodate our dietary restrictions (vegetarian). The price is also reasonable. 

Great oasis in the desert

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights during our Namibian adventure.  The room is amazing, very spacious with bed, sofa, table etc his & hers sinks, separate toilet and shower area. I would describe the decor as rustic but elegant. The one thing I would add would be a fridge. Outside you have your own seating area with sofa and sun lounger, then you have stairs that lead up to the star bed area. One of the most wonderful experiences was laying in bed under a vast expanse of stars, which seem to grow the more you look, we also saw many shooting stars. Then you have the infinity pool, the water may be cold but after a day exploring the dunes & many other wonders in the hot dessert sun, it’s a welcome relief, lots of areas to relax & partake of drinks, cocktails etc.
The food was varied, everything was fresh and well cooked and well presented, we had both a selection from a menu and the Buffett.  All staff were friendly and attentive & seemed to enjoy working there. An added extra was the wildlife, that may come by, we saw warthogs & a Kudu.  We would highly recommend this lodge.

We stayed two nights in the lodge and it was amazing. Super friendly staff, great infinity pool with a nice area and the rooms are super new and modern. We booked the stargazing offer and this was absolutely stunning!
