I had a wonderful stay at Shumba. I was received with friendliness and openness. They made effort in adding a fridge to the room due to my longer stay.  The food was made with care and was delicious. Their attentive hospitality was a blessing and they conduct their business with sincerity and high moral standards. I will definitely recommend Shumba.

Had a great stay and the owners are very nice.they just reopened with new management.it has a great atmosphere.Even the breakfast was a delight.They have a great venue for conferences and events i would recommend it to anyone.

Peaceful and caring

beautiful place close to town.

I needed conference facilities, so I thought, as Shumba is very close to my offices, I would give them a "shot". I made use of their facilities before, but my goodness, did I run into the most unfriendly, unaccommodating and especially an extremely rude woman. I'm not sure if she's the owner or one of the owners, but jeez, did she have an attitude. I wanted the facility for two full days and then at another time another three full days. She mentioned that she was not sure if she could accommodate me. So, I asked if she could check while I'm there waiting. She said no, I needed to forward her a mail. I asked her, why a mail, I'm there right now and I would be willing to wait while she checks. Once more the answer was no. So, I got fed up and decided to search for a venue else where. I walked away while she was telling me what sort of person I was, how rude I was, and most of all, her words were, she doesn't need people like me on her premises. if that's the way things work in Windhoek, I'm absolutely not interested in supporting the smaller establishments.

was the worst experience ever, first of all, the beds is horrible, fridge was dirty and they don't have enough remotes for the gate, so every time you go out you have to look for someone to open the gate for u and when u come back u have to wait ages on someone to open the gate once again for u. the showers is either to hot or to cold. did not experience breakfast so cant complain and for the price they asked per night is ridiculous.
